Hello and welcome back for me.
I have been inactive for quite some time now and quite frankly I guess I could've told you guys I was goin on an hiatus from Minecraft. Sorry about that.

Although the newest updates spurred my interest, the new skinsystem with more layers that is.
So I couldn't really stay away anymore, without further ado.
Here it is.

Since the coming update is so awesome I've already made a new skin for myself.
Allow me to describe the update to the skin system and how it works now.
Before the skin had a resolution of 32x64, consisting of; One leg, one arm, torso, head and helmet.
Helmet was above the head part of the skin and was then the only layer available to use.
With the new update it comes in the resolution of 64x64 and EVERY body part has a new layer above it, making armors and other details or plain and simple clothes possible!
Not only that, it also gives you one more arm and one more leg to skin, so you can have skins with one arm and one leg looking completely different from the other.

I'm not here to share this skin with you, I'm just here to show you the preview of it.
Maybe also get some feedback.
It took quite some time to pull off

This skin was made from scratch in Photoshop using only a few tools, the fill-, burn-, dodge-, and smudge tool.
It has 52 layers to pull it off properly.

One layer filter was used to create the shading on the body, Linear Burn, on a solid color of the shape of the items in second layer of the skin.
