Last night a HUGE HUGE argument took place with, long story short caused Mojang servers to be DDOS'd
The Minecraft EULA that is trying to be added to Minecraft will be saying that all donations for ranks or in game money will be illegal. This is due to parents complaining that their children donated to a server for a rank and got banned e.t.c. Mojang for the past few years have been turning a blind eye to this. But now they are TRYING to make a stop. Of course the Minecraft community was OUTRAGED by this.
Think of ALL the things that this POTENTIAL change will kill. Plugins like BuyCraft will stop recieving profit and income as the plugin will no longer be legal to use. This will also cause alot of servers to die off as alot of servers thrive off of donations seeing as servers can be quite exspensive.
So heres the main issue.
Can you make a server and sell things like ranks or in games items legally?
Answer to this, Is No.
