Hey, and welcome to my blog on my personal opinion about skins.
We all started out as a total noobling,
Making solid color skins,
And here on PMC, This has gotten slightly out of hand.
The amount of solid color skins has increased.
And im here to reduce ( and possibly put a stop ) to this madness.
Sure when your new to skinning,
Your proud to the simplest skins you do,
But they get you nowhere on PMC,
So here are a few tips on what you can do.
1. When your starting off, Instead of posting your skins on here,
Upload them to imgur.com and advertise the link in chat
( one link per 15 minuets ).
This way you can gain feedback on your skin,
And use this to improve.
If you use this technique,
You will learn what the community like and dislike.
2. Ask popular skinners tips on what type of shading they use,
And try them out until you find one your comfortable with.
Then improve on that technique.
This will help you in shading, And then you could post them on PMC,
For the community to see.
3. Dont post all your skins that you make
( Unless your confident people will like them )
Using this will create the effect of you practicing,
Witch will show people that you can become a better skinner.
