Today my blog is about noobs and what they actually are. The idea behind this blog came to me when I was on a hunger games server and when a player died, some of them reacted in chat and called their slaughterer a noob or a hacker. Hope you enjoy
If you ask any minecrafter if they classify themselves as a noob, every single one of them will say that they are not. This is what is interesting, because noobs are not actually bad at minecraft or any game for that matter, people just tell other players they are noobs to make themselves look better. I know a lot of you will probably disagree with this statement, but I can assure you that noobs are not the worst at whatever game you are playing, it is the people who call them noobs. What I mean by this statement is that whoever calls a player a noob, is most likely players that have been playing for a while, and by putting others down they get a satisfaction. The most annoying players are the ones that put others down for not being at their level. Just because a player isn't as good as you, that does not make him a noob it just makes you a player that people won't enjoy playing online with.
Another term used to describe some players is hacker. Now this term is used in the opposite of when a noob is used usually. When a player dies usually they describe their killer as a hacker. I've seen this 1000 times on many servers and games. An example is on survival games when someone kills another person who has better armor. The person who died and had the armor describes their killer as a hacker. This is annoying in a lot of cases because they start making a big fuss about it. What they should really do is get on with their lives and find another game. This would be a lot quicker and more affective. I'm not saying that hackers don't exist in a lot of games as they surely do, what I am trying to say is just because you lose or die, doesn't mean they are cheating, it just means they got the better of you that one time.
