We live in this world with such fierce vile.
Man is chained to these lives we so cherish.
Sometimes, we can fly aways for a while,
But we must always return or perish.
How can there be so little hope?
How can this place be so beautifully cold?
If we're all just learning the rope,
Why does this routine feel old?
What protocall has the right
To say who lives and dies?
Man has lost sight of the light.
Trapped under all the lies.
I wish I could run away
And leave all this behind.
But it would reappear the next day.
We're stuck sucking on the rhind
Of despair's bittersweet fruit.
Yet, all the gold in the world,
All of the rich man's treasure and loot,
Can't fix mankind, burnt and gnarled.
We must rise again.
Unspool the hopeful wire.
We must find a new way to begin.
Rise, Pheonix, out of the fire.
