Hello and welcome to my tutorial page on how to install and download optifine for any minecraft version.
What Is Optifine? Optifine is a popular mod used by expert minecraft players to get a better minecraft experience. This mod allows better performance while running HD texture packs and it also boosts performance. This mod also allows gamers to run minecraft with more than one processor (Multi-Core). In general, the mod offers many seperate settings to either boost performance or give a boost in quality.
How To Install Optifine: If you are unable to watch the youtube tutorial i created above, refer to the steps i created below.
1. Download Optifine - There are 2 important differences with the type of optifine you want to download. One catagory is ULTRA. Ultra is the optifine version that allows you to go multi-core and runs HD texture packs smooth. The other catagory is NORMAL or DEFAULT. This version offers many different settings to boost performance excluding multi-core capabilities. I use the ultra version but if you dont have a well performed pc, use the normal download. Go to the official Optifine page and choose your download

2. Further Instructions - In start type %appdata%. Click the .minecraft folder. Then click bin. Then rightclick minecraft.jar and open it with winrar. once opened, delete the meta inf folder and transfer all the CLASS files from optifine to minecraft.jar
3. Close & Reopen minecraft. Congrats!
