First off, let me say that this is not a rant (or so I think) and that I think it needs to brought to the community's attention. If you want to have some say in this, post in the comment section below. Now, let's get started.

The blog section looks like a wastebasket! Really, though, It looks bad. No, i'm not talking about the layout. I'm talking about the stuff we put in it. The majority of the high quality blogs are being drowned out by the low quality short blogs that we don't need.It says right up in the rules that advertisements are not allowed. Sure, the blogs might hit pop reel, but does it make it worthy? There are two answers. If it is spam, then no, it does not belong there. If it is good quality, it belongs there! The writer of the blog most likely spent a fair or good amount of time into that blog, and it's probably worth reading.

I've also noticed a huge amount of blogs going into categories they shouldn't be in. Earlier today, I saw a Let's Play in the article section, and I also saw a Tutorial in the reviews section. Really? It shouldn't be hard to click on the category button and just select where the blog goes. It's that easy! Sometimes, we forget, but there's the edit button for a reason. There are ways to prevent this, too. There's the edit button, there's the submissions that do go into the right categories! All i'm asking is that you put the blog into the right category, It won't look half as bad if we do that.

The last major problem (at least, to me it's major) is the lack of categories. There's nine, 8 main categories and the other category, where 1/3 of the junk goes. We could have a category for Rants, a category for Thank You's, and even a monthly category. I think it would be great and more organized, yet it could make it more spam filled if we do it the wrong way.
