Much like your song-writing for the windswept album, this is very mature. I love this since there's a huge separation between the raw emotion on display here compared to some people just writing poems about their toasters or some other relatively unimportant things for this contest.

I genuinely hope this poem gets top 3!

I know the song is still a demo, but I feel like I should share that your voice gets drowned out by the instrumental. In my opinion at least, the vocals don't come out as clear as they could be.

I'd say the piano should be a bit further in the background, right now I feel it's overpowering the rest of the elements in the mix.

Honestly, the vocals seem a bit too quiet throughout the entire song. I know I personally had to listen really closely to catch what was being sung.

Of course, it is your song so as long as you think it sounds good in your own ears that's the main thing.

Besides, I'm only an amateur myself when it comes to music production and mixing.
