TRENDING PLAYER SKIN: Myrtales by coast (level 57 Grabdmaster Goblin).
This skin was published Tuesday 5th July 2022 by a member called coast. The skin already has 32 diamonds, 16 favourites, 111 views and 13 downloads!
TRENDING MOB SKIN: Technodlade by GamingWithXie (level 5 Apprentice Miner).
This particular cape is made in memory of Technoblade. The creator published this skin Tuesday 5th July 2022 and has 4 downloads, 63 views, 9 diamonds and 3 favourites.
TRENDING BLOG: Mah irl doggie by ShadowOnTheLoose (level 38 Artisan Archer).
Her adorable dog has already given her 150 views, 23 diamonds and 14 favourites, and so many comments! A lot of them are saying things like ‘Aww so cute’. I agree!
TRENDING DATAPACK: Minecraft: Grandmaster Mode - Hardest Minecraft Difficulty by NeptuneDatapacks (level 49 Master Modder).
This datapack requires a resource pack to work but apart from that it is easily downloadable. 2,639 people have downloaded the datapack but 17,102 people have viewed it! The datapack was originally published 8 months ago but on July 3rd 2022 the creator updated it. Already gaining 56 diamonds and 48 favourites, I’m pretty sure they’ve done an excellent job.
TRENDING MAP: WhiteHall Castle by JulieJVN (level 9 Apprentice Crafter)
With 425 views, 12 diamonds and 6 favourites, JulieJVN has proven that even using 1.8.9 blocks, a build can be beautiful. This one is 80% complete but we still don’t know wether they are planning to let people download the map.
TRENDING DATAPACK: Epic Herobrine Boss Battle 1.18-1.19 (End Game) by MrOminous (level 58 Grandmaster Dwarf)
This epic Datapack was uploaded two years ago and been updated 6-7 times. It’s recieved 112 diamonds and 102 favourites. It’s even grabbed the attention of 3 YouTubers: JeromeASF, Bandi and Bstylia14! The awesome Herobrine fight is both challenging and rewarding as when you defeat him you gain a sword named the Notchcleaver.
CONTEST TALKABOUT
I’ve used DinowCookie’s helpful Community Event Calendar and checked entire profiles/groups for contests, and of course I thought the newspaper is a great example of somewhere I could share them.
1. ☀️ Summer’s Out! ☀️ Chest contest by LittleDino2022
I’ve made a contest where you pick a chest and the people who picked the right chest get to pick a chest again! This Carrie’s on for 5 rounds until we get to 7 chests. Even if you pick the wrong chest, you still get a summer themed prize! No specified deadline.
2. StreamServer Palette Battle League by SSPBL Group
This group has been runnning a palette contest since the very beginning of groups. It!s still happening and even if you don’t join the group and play along, you still get a vote on who you think should win. No specified deadline.
3. Summer of Sonic [Skin Contest]
Hosted by Daebno (level 51 Grandmaster Procrastinator), this contest is all about skinning! You’ll have to skin a Sonic franchise themed skin. All PMC rules apply and Java Edition skins only. Tag your creation with DaebnoSC2 for it to count. The host will judge by originality, effort and quality. Deadline is 17th July 11:59 PM EST.
IDEAS CORNER
Here, I will provide ideas for all those people who are bored of Planet Minecraft, Minecraft, or uploading YouTube.
PLANET MINECRAFT: CURING THE BOREDOM OF THE WEBSITE
1. Check what’s TRENDING on any day so more people DOWNLOAD your content
One of the reasons people can get bored of Planet Minecraft is the fact they aren’t trending. So, maybe instead of creating something random, check what’s trending and maybe you will be trending too.
2. Join CONTESTS that are focusing on what you’re GOOD at
Sometimes it’s good to maybe work on one thing at one time, upload one thing every day. So consider joining a contest of any type. You’ll maybe be motivated to try and get a good place, maybe even win!
3. Have FUN with the things you CREATE and UPLOAD them
Often people find they don’t have fun on Planet Minecraft and quit after creating their profile in less than a week. Try and find what you’re good at and enjoy it, and if you have fun with the thing you publish, you’ll want to do it again.
4. Make FRIENDS, gain SUBSCRIBERS and become POPULAR
Lonely people = leave Planet Minecraft. Try and get subscribers and build bond with those people by chatting to them. I never knew I’d have so many friends, and honestly I thought about giving up when I had no subscribers by level 5, until someone subscribed and I was over the moon. So try and get chatting with some of your subscribers.
MINECRAFT: GETTING YOU BACK INTO THE BLOCK REALITY
1. Watch your FAVOURITE YOUTUBERS to DRAW you to the game
When your favourite YouTubers play a game you love, you might take inspiration from them and want to play again. They might build something on Hermitcraft you love, or play on a server you absolutely love such as Hypixel Bed Wars, you might be inspired to start doing that thing. It works for any game, trust me.
2. Start a LONG-TERM PROJECT that you want to FINISH and be PROUD of
Minecrafters can start a project, never finish it again, and start a new project, and the cycle starts. Find a style of play you enjoy, that might be Survival or Creative, and play that gamemode and do something in it. It could be anything from a medieval country to a redstone item sorter.
3. Keep playing ONE WORLD for a long time with some FRIENDS or FAMILY
I’m bad at this one in particular. I’ll start a world or SMP with my friends and delete the world in a week, then do that again. My friends found it extremely annoying, so we have a world No that we can play on. So keep playing one world for a long time and you’ll find it’s fun!
UPLOADING TO YOUTUBE: EDITING THE ‘FUN’ INTO ‘FUNNY’
1. Create a SERIES in any game that your SUBSCRIBERS like and want to WATCH
This doesn’t just work for Minecraft but also works for any other game. It’s OK to upload things that aren’t related to one another, but if you and a few friends have a Survival world that your subscribers love, keep playing on that world until you complete your goals or you/your subscribers get bored of the content, then create a new series.
2. Download MODS, DATAPACKS OR TEXTURE PACKS to add a bit of FUN into your world
Bored of plain old vanilla Minecraft? Want to spice things up a bit in your world? Download a few mods, datapacks or texture packs. Sometimes vanilla Minecraft can get a little bit on the boring side, and your subscribers, likes and comments may start to drop. If you download some additional features, your subscribers might like it.
3. Be ENTHUSIASTIC about the thing you’re doing to ENTERTAIN your viewers
If you aren’t having fun with the game you’re playing, your subscribers won’t have fun watching your videos and may well click off in the middle. You may as well delete your account if you’re not having fun. Act enthusiastically and your viewers will be entertained too.
