For the month of October, I’ve decided to do a daily lore series of spooky stories. At first, I was debating whether I should do this or not, and I made this forum to see your opinions, but I quickly decided to do it, so here’s the guide for it.

The story follows me, Si, and Storm as we’re invited to a mysterious mansion on a remote island for the month of October, and each of the daily stories will follow our adventures on the island and in the mansion. As I said above, it will take place in IGEBM/PMC lore, in the main universe, and the chapters will be released on a daily basis between the first and last days of October.

Hilariously, ghostoftheglade, who used to go by the username "ghostoftheglade" and who is kinda like a ghost on this site for now, has left until somewhere between November and January and thus can't be included in the story. (So basically the only ghost-like person out of the four of us is the one that's not in the story about ghosts.)

Chapters

Day 1 - The Invitation Song: “Invitation” by Helloween (Keeper of the Seven Keys: Part II, 1988)	IGEBM, Si, and Storm are invited to spend the month at the mysterious Shiver Mansion, located on Shiver Island, a land trapped in a perpetual thunderstorm.
Day 2 - Exploring the Mansion	The morning after their arrival, the trio decide to split up and explore their temporary abode.
Day 3 - The Shack	Si discovers a shack with some mysterious green goop on the walls, and the group tries to figure out what it is.
Day 4 - Up in the Attic	After hearing noises in the attic for the past few days, IGE and Si go up to investigate.
Day 5 - Basement Screams	On their fifth day in the mansion, the gang hear screams coming from the basement, and head downstairs to see what's causing them.
Day 6 - Paranormal Research	Suspicious about what's going on, Storm and the others do some research on all things spooky.
Day 7 - The Séance	In an effort to commune with the spirits of the dead, IGE, Si, and Storm hold a séance.
Day 8 - The Hermit	While exploring the woods, IGE meets a strange hermit.
Day 9 - Disappearances	The group investigates the disappearance of the hermit.
Day 10 - The Torture Chamber	IGE and Storm revisit the basement and discover a secret torture chamber.
Day 11 - The Cemetery	Si checks out the island's cemetery, but accidentally awakens the dead.
Day 12 - The Walking Corpses	The group try to hold off the zombies and prevent them from getting into the mansion.
Day 13 - Mysterious Clanking	IGE hears a clanking sound coming from the woods, and leads the trio through the woods to find the source.
Day 14 - A Chaotic Spirit Song: “The Moonflower Society” by Avantasia (A Paranormal Evening with the Moonflower Society, 2022)	To their surprise, the cause of the clanking turns out to be the spirit of Chaos, which leads to an evening of forging with the deceased blacksmith and the ghosts of other departed PMCers. Day 15 - Another Ghost of the Past	On their way back to the mansion in the morning, the gang run into the ghost of Peter, who was killed by the Maddened One several months prior. Guest Star: @OrderOutOfChaos as Peter
Day 16 - The Scarecrow Lives	Si and Storm tend to the crops on the island, but are surprised when the scarecrow starts moving from place to place.
Day 17 - The Hell-o-Lantern Rises	While on the farm at night, a creature rises from the pumpkin patch.
Day 18 - A Peaceful Evening	For the first time in 18 days, the trio have a calm and quiet evening in the mansion.
Day 19 - Old Designs	Storm breaks into a locked study in the mansion and discovers schematics for a robot of some sort, as well as directions to the workshop where it's stored.
Day 20 - Beneath the Basement	With help from IGE and Si, Storm enters the secret room under the basement, and they begin to examine the robot within.
Day 21 - The Possessed Robot	Trapped under the basement, the group are forced to battle the robot, which has been possessed by a spirit.
Day 22 - A Blaze in the Woods	The group put out a fire in the woods, and then try to determine its mysterious cause.
Day 23 - Unholy Rituals 101	Storm returns to the "Everything Paranormal" section of the library to find a book on unholy rituals after discovering a pentagram on a burnt tree in the woods.
Day 24 - A Call to Guts	IGE makes a call to Guts, the former Aspect of Horror of the Cryptic Family and writer of the Cryptic Morbid, to ask him some questions about the strange occurrences on Shiver Island. Guest Star: Rigor_Mortis as Guts
Day 25 - The History of Shiver Mansion	Guts regales his friends with a story about the history of Shiver Mansion and its owner, Daemon B. Shiver. Guest Star: Rigor_Mortis as Guts
Day 26 - The Cloaked Figure This chapter marks the beginning of "The Final Act."	Throughout the day, the group begin to see a mysterious hooded figure around the island.
Day 27 - Chanting in the Woods	One night, the gang hear loud chanting coming from the woods, and venture out to investigate.
Day 28 - The Cult	They find the source of the chanting, which turns out to be a cave-based cult led by the spirit of Mr. Shiver.
Day 29 - The Ritual	Mr. Shiver visits the mansion the day after the discovery of the cult and tells the group about the Ritual of Heavenly Ascension.
Day 30 - The Sacrifice	IGE and Si wake up and find that Storm is missing, and rush back to the cult's cave to find him.
Day 31 - All Hallows’ Eve	After Mr. Shiver's ritual is interrupted by IGE and Si, who rescue Storm and damage the process right before the midnight sacrifice on Halloween, he undergoes a monstrous transformation.
