Why is it always me?
Why does it only happen to me?
I am no different from you or the person next to you,
It seems like no matter how I look at it
there is no way to be truly happy.

What is happiness?
Why do we strive to be happy?
Happiness isn't measured by the things you have.
Not by the way you present yourself.
It's the different aspects of your life that makes it true.
There are so many ways to be happy.

What does your life mean?
Why do we live when we hate living?
It's ok to feel down.
There is always a down side and an upside.
Whether it's family or friends,
Maybe it's school or work,
Completing a goal or creating a new one,
Maybe loosing a girlfriend or getting married.
There will always be ups and downs.
It is never consistent.

Just because you want everything to happen perfectly,
Chances are it won't but you need to be ok with that.
Nothing is ever given to you, not happiness or sadness.
You choose what you want to be true.

What does it mean to live?
Why am I living this life?
Thoughts of treating yourself as someone else,
Is just you throwing your humanity away.
If you have ever been so down you think u can just end it all.
Your throwing your humanity away.

You are born with a set path.
Along that path are struggles and feelings you will have to overcome.
But you will never truly be happy.
Because there are always ups and downs in your life.
Make your story one to be told.

It can change in a second,
and can change when you don't want it.
It happens too quick,
Can happen too slow.
But nothing is forever,
Only you can fix it.

This ominous presence of a life unseen, engulfs me.

As the crescent dew ripples on your folds

Your blissful emotions fade like the receding tide.

Fate entangles my heart in a blind love

From a shadow unseen by broken eyes.

Home to one, yet enjoyed by few

Carefully waits for you.

Them,                         

Tall yet small, head up, legs down.

Feet firmly on the ground.

One pull,                    

One storm,

Gone,

Knows who they are.

Yet runs from what is desired.

Only to see dreams fade with the rippling water.

She,

Together,

One enjoyed by many;

Yet not enjoyed alone.


    The lily pad sits.

As I walk through the forest,

My mind opens to a clearing.

A field untouched by man,

The wind flows through my body.


I feel nothing but the chisel on my hips,

The cold ground begins to surround me.

But once an endless field is now a dream,


Only a creature stands before me.

It is touching me yet doesn’t know me,

Who can say what it feels.

I don’t have emotion in this body or mind.


What does it want from me?

It places things upon me,

Yet can’t see me for what I am.

I am but a figment of illusion,

A mere item for its pleasure.

Yet under your umbrella you reveal a crown.


You smell like old people yet not canned,

Covered in fur or dots is what you wear,

Cut you in half turn you around, why do u frown?


Take you for granted yet you cover the land,

When left alone you are a love affair,

But when bathed you hold me up when down.


The ominous presence encircles the hand,

Though this draws me in like a snare,

You may be small but you are a boom town.

The peace is broken.

Shuffle to the kitchen,

To get my medicine.

Deposit the goods,

Start the machine.

Obtain the daily substance,

Rest head in hand,

Ponder on empty thoughts.

Every day is the same,

Yet you are not.

Changing the name by day,

But never take another identity.

How Ill respected you are,

For your significant other,

Is so far gone.

Mother grows by twins,

Twins divided by fate.

The crack that forms you,

Is the heart that cracks in two.

Though only a child you once where,

Now sent to be a hundred.

Once your state is sealed,

You are bitter till the end.

Relinquished to hell,

But once the water that gave life,

Now closes the curtains on you.

How you are taken for granted.

A life with a long journey,

Destined to be changed.

Into a name formed by another,

You are bold to your purpose.

Whether in the light or the dark.

We cannot understand you,

Benefiting others is what matters.

But what about the vessel?

Eyes clouded by darkness,

It is cold and rather dry,

I can feel nothing,

But the holes in my mind,


In the distance there is light,

Beyond this blanket in the sky,

That seems but only a dream,

Descending further as I fly,


Breaking through and coming to,

A world of beauty clad in white,

Meeting everyone we dance together,

It seems to be an endless flight,


In that instant there was everything,

Although we face what we can't change,

I will not forget what I have felt,

There is always time to rearrange.
