*sigh*

I guess that this could be considered a rant, but this has been bugging me for awhile.

What I speak on today is a statement found on many the popular post, that being '[Pop Reel!]'

I'm not going to give examples of the people who pushed me over, out of respect. You know who your are.

I strongly dislike this because, for one, it seems like an expression of immaturity, in the title of something. Well, I guess that I shouldn't go that far, as that seems severe. But seeing something like:
"Recreation of said cathedral [POP REEL :D :P !!!!!]"
Seems severe.

People will view, download, like, and do all the rest to a post if it looks professional. Let me put an example here. Say that a not-so-popular business gets a video on the front of YouTube. Do they then go plastering signs up on the video, and on their business like ":D We got on the YouTube homepage!" or post "[Homepage]" in front of the video? No. I don't think that I have seen a single video on YouTube or other video site that has things like this on them.

While I couldn't agree more about Pop Reel being a good thing, I just don't understand how this can lead to great posts loosing professionality on something as silly as typing '[Yay Pop Reel!]' on their post.

I guess what it all comes down to is professionality (I may have made this word up). Builds, Skins, Texture Packs, Blogs, all of that simply look unprofessional when they have something like [POP REEL :D] taped on the end of a post. Being happy that something gets on the pop reel is okay, but overexciting and posting it all over the post seems silly.
