Okay, so everyone has recently seen the pop reel blog about unknown users, and why they don't have as many subscribers as others do. But... what exactly makes one popular on PMC?
This question might be pretty obvious to some-- get pop reel, have over 100 subscribers, people asking you to join their servers, getting interviews, etc. But I'm talking when you've JUST joined the site, you're Level 1, you have no subscribers, and no posts. Some might say you can tell just from the first thing someone posts whether they might be the next Paril, or next MissMarifire, or Daddy_Yankee14. Others, including me however, can tell as someone continues posting. You keep track over the person, look at what they post. At first, someone might post really crappy, unshaded skins with no effort at all. But, lets say that after a month on the website, they're posting super detailed, amazing skins. It's all about improvement. But what about the people who judge someone from the first thing they post?
Well, that's simple. They simply forget about the Level 1 member, and move on to someone else who's already posting awesome skins, blogs, etc. You might not notice, but that could mean the difference between the member getting dissapointed, posting less often, and eventually quitting altogether. I'm not saying this what will happen every time, but it could, and can. This happens to more people than you think. They post horrible skins, but after a while they start posting pop reel potential skins and noone notices because they didn't even give them a chance in the first place. That is basically how unnoticed skinners/bloggers/whatevers are created. For them, as hard as they try, noone bothers to give them a second glance. Who knows, that member you just saw with the crappy skins, could become the next great skinner with improvement, and nobody even lifts a finger to give their skins a view.
So now leads to the point of my blog-- Whenever you see someone with horrible skins, and horrible blogs, instead of just finding some awesome skinner to look at, take a bit of time to leave a helpful comment or a diamond. If you can do that, then maybe one day, when they've grown into a Level 32 member with 320 subscribers, they just might return the favor to you.
Thanks for reading! But.. I wanted to dedicate this blog to SnowyLOLz an awesome, unnoticed skinner who is good friends with me. All I have to say to him, is to keep trying. Because no matter what happens, you have to keep trying your best. I know one day you'll be at the top, but until then, never, ever tell yourself your horrible or worthless at what you do. Because your not, at least to me and your friends. c:
Welp, that's all.
