[Introduction]

Hey! Its sugar, and I'm going to be talking about DDoS, online for the public.

[Huh? Whats DDoS?]

Well! DDoS is something you use to generally get servers down. (Not just minecraft) What happens is, a bunch of computers, connect to your server, and take up bandwidth, disk space or processor time.

What this means is, for example: if you host a server, when someone logins for the first time, they have a file just for that person. And then, 100's of minecraft accounts connect to your server. That's 100 more data files.. So as you can see that's taking up space..
This is going a bit extreme but.. PDoS is Permenant Denial Of Service. This exploits security flaws, which would allow the user to remote control the victims computer. This can result in, your windows being deleted.

[Posting IP'S]

Yes, maybe sometimes it may be tempting to just post someone's IP publicly, which if you do, you missed the whole idea of the article. Nobody, wants to be DDoSed. When I say nobody, I mean it.

-Sugar, this was my first blog so say things to improve on!

:) It's good to see someone explain this, and bring the issue of a DDOS to the public.
