Hey everybody! Hope you are having a fine day so far. Well I'm starting up a new series of blogs i will be doing and they will be server reviews for different types of server. This server review is of Powdercraft Prison, a fairly recent server up on PMC. Added about a month ago and at nromal there's about 20 people or so. Alright so to start this review off lets talk about the server opperation and such. It seems as if this server has a very high rate of staying up and doesn't crash very often. There isn't much lag what so ever with what i have experienced so far. the owner of the server has a good host and you don't have to worry about lag or any issue like that.
Next lets talk about builds and designs. As I look at the spawn I notice it was very well built and but lots of effort into it. If I would change anything I'd add a bit more contrast within it to bring it out a bit more. Other than that the spawn is very well built. Now as I look at the prison it seems the same thing. Well built just maybe a bit more contrast would spice things up a bit and make it a little bit more interesting.
On to the gameplay itself on this server. As i'm only B rank the second rank i have had fun so far with playing. It seems as if it isn't so overpowered to the point where it's not enjoyable and you keep ranking up repeatedly, but more of you need to work to get higher rank more than just mining for 1 trip. I like this as it adds more fun and excitement while your playing and you won't get bored as easily. Lots of gameplay and decent amount of ranks to keep you busy for awhile.
Finally is their donation system. The donation ranks are pretty underpriced for the most part. But once you get into OP items and commands is when it gets a bit more overpriced. The first donator rank is probably the only thing i see worth buying as the rest are a bit overpriced. Cost $9.00 just to get a nickname with colors in it. Only thing I suggest them changing is the donator system, most is not worth the money.
In conclusion, this server i give a very positive rank as it is very fun and exciting. There's a few things here and there that could be changed, but that comes with every server. I suggest playing on this server and giving it a try if you like prison servers. You'll be sure to have a fun time if you join this server. Hope you enjoy and have a great day!
