Puddlekit was born to Mallowfeather and Waterclaw. For a moon she didn’t know the harshness of the world. One night rain was pouring throughout the island, and because of floods, MarshClan had to evacuate the camp. Waterclaw stayed to make sure everyone got out alive, but he was swept away.
Even though Puddlepatch never really knew her father, she felt a connection to him. Going to the beach as the sun set always made her feel closer to him.

Fun fact! Puddlepatch also has a step-mother (Cloverstrike) and two half-siblings (Beepaw and Hawkpaw). Mallowfeather found a new mate later after Waterclaw died, but he never stopped loving him.
