Before I start, let me just say PMC does not have to be just about Minecraft.
It starts as a joke, and turns into something bad. Every single word you say about someone that is hurtful takes a little part of confidence out of them.
I write to you today about a matter that has been around since the start of time, and will probably still be here at the end of time. Putting people down. I will talk to you about the topic today.
Have you ever told someone something that hurt them? Or have you heard something that hurt you? These are both rhetorical questions. And the answer to both of them is yes.
Everyone has been put down or "bullied" as we say. Whether it be physical or verbal. Life does not allow one to live a perfect life. It often starts in Secondary/Middle School where puberty kicks in and people start to change. You're best friend might become your enemy. You will change and everyone else will to. People get bullied for various reasons, looks, what they like, how they act and who their idol is, etc. Some people mean it, some are joking. You as a human being will take it whatever way you want, some won't care, some will become emotional.
Do you know what the most common cause of death is for teenagers? Suicide. Suicide happens when a person has severe depression and does nothing or little about it. Suicide is tragic, people taking their own lives because others see them differently. While most people would say it is the persons fault for not telling anyone or not seeking help, you have to include the people that bullied them. They did permanent mental damage, they probably didn't know it but they did.
I have dealt with depression, as some of you probably have, it is a horrible feeling. You feel like no one cares about you and you don't belong in this world. You totally block out the fact that people do care about you. And your life is worth living.
So smile, even if it is for no reason, because you might just make someones day.
