I'm going to get right to the point on this blog- I have to get back to work on my 'To The Stars' Contest Entry.
I have seen many Projects immediately posted onto the 'Contest Entries' page. This is fine, as long as you keep working on your Project. If you don't, just expect to get only a 'Participation' Badge. It's the cold, hard truth.
If you want something more than just a 'Participation' badge, you need to put quality work onto your Project, or whatever it is you are working on. Don't be lazy!
Look at the Contest requirements. Follow them. Do your best.
You will have to spend time on it! Don't make something that tells other people that you are lazy! If you are going to post something right when a Contest starts, make sure you update it, but only if you want something higher than a 'Participant' Badge on your wall.
Here is a list of a few of the many things that you will probably need on your Contest Entry:

So, if you want to have a very nice and clean Contest Entry, don't spend only a day on it. That's why they give us three weeks to build and share!

- Organization
- A Good Description
- A Good Picture
- Good Screenshots
- A Download Link
- Skill
- Motivation (Do you want to Win?)
- A Texture Pack
