The common creeper, often just reffered to as the creeper, is a docile creature when not aggravated, peacefully surveying the landscape around it. It is approximately two meters tall, and has four short legs. It appears to be an unhappy creature, though this is yet to be confirmed. For unknown reasons, it is terrified of cats and will dash off if it finds itself to close to one. Dogs and iron golems, however, are terrified of it. Its Latin name,  Reptilia Explosivae means 'explosive reptile', and this it is. A nocturnal creature, it is common to encounter after the sun sets. However, if exposed to light it will not shrink away nor become agitated. When struck by lightning, instead of being electricuted, it becomes 'charged' and its explosive power is much stronger.

When disturbed, it will stalk the player silently, almost if not entirely inaudible. Coming near the player, it will spontaneously explode, killing itself and possibly the player, depending how near he or she was. It will also destoy adjacent blocks, unless underwater. Thus, it should be left alone and undisturbed at all costs.
