I recently purchased a server from Servercraft.co and I am looking to switch hosts.
One of the things that frustrated me the most about servercraft, was my inability to access the server. The Portal is VERY restrictive, allowing you to do nothing other than upload .jar files. To get anything done outside of that, ex: have a folder accompanying a plugin uploaded into the Plugins directory, you must upload it and send it to servercraft via a support ticket and wait about 8 hours for them to do anything about it. This is a very severe problem. Another problem with servercraft is the mod support. The people working in this department do not seem to have a good understanding of bukkit and plugins. For example, i sent in a ticket to upload a npc plugin, and instead, 8 hours later they moved all of my plugins to a different folder, so they didnt work and uploaded other plugins i didnt want.
Also- NO FTP OR SSH, this was the deciding factor in my decision to leave, i felt like i had absolutley no access.
Other than the above issues, the quality of the server itself was decent, it was able to handle a good number of players well and there was little lag.
I am now seeking a server, preferably around 15 slots for $15-$30
I was considering BroHoster, but i run about 25-30 plugins and they dont seem to have enough ram on their servers to hand that many plugins. I am open to all suggestions.
