I scurried across the wooden planks, clinging to the gold necklace. The
wrags on my feet were clinging together by strings, so I felt every
rough splinter and crack of the aged wood. The officers were nearly
caught up to me, so I used my signature move, as I like to call it. When
I jumped into the water below to swim off into my little cave, I
expected to feel the cool plunge of water and bubbles surrounding me.
Instead, I felt air. "What the..." I was very confused, and looked down
to see my feet on top of the water. "But...How...What?!" How was I
standing on water?!

Due to the paralysis of petrification, the
gold necklace dropped from my hands. The officers, as I, were frozen;
bewildered at the sight that appeared right before their eyes..
"Is that actually happening?" I heard one of them mutter
"I hate dreams like this," mumbled another.
"Wish
I could go play Minecraft with my kids right now. Instead we've gotta
deal with the magician," exclaimed another, while mumbling. Despite the
raw amazingness of my unimaginable powers, I plucked up the urge to run.
I didn't even try to dive down under the water to get the necklace. It
was already about fifty meteres down. I sprinted for my dear life, full
pace. I could have easily beaten Usain Bolt, had I been running like
this in the Olympics. I noticed, as I looked behind me, that one of the
police officers had attempted what I could only dream of doing; let
alone actually doing it. Long story short - he failed.

How rude
of me. I haven't introduced myself. My name's Brian. I'm nineteen years
old and I just robbed a jewellery shop of its most valuable gold
necklace. On the run away, I stole a car. It was a ferrari, but with two
thousand miles on it. It was very dodgy and crashed after two hundred
metres. I had to run and I entered a tall building, possibly a very
plain hotel. I ran up the stairs to the top and climbed onto the roof
and parkoured. But I slipped and hit my eye and now it's blind. I also
slipped down a long way onto a balcony and ran down to the bottom of the
next building and there you have it - I'm at a peer, with the police
right in front of me.

I needed more information on these powers.
Perhaps is was if I just wanted to. I told myself that I wanted to swim -
and so I did. Well that was just great. That meant I could've gone and
got that necklace. I tried other stuff. Here's the list of things I
tried and what worked and not.

• Flying
  
• Running faster than fifty miles per hour

• Teleporting
  
• Making cats appear
  
• Getting a free minecraft account
  
• Becoming famous
  

Becoming
famous? Well, that wasn't one of the powers - it was just the result of
the powers. As I used these powers, my head became dizzier and dizzer.
But I didn't care. I robbed so many banks, killed people who got in my
way and became rich. However, I once teleported too far; into a rock.
And guess where it poked me - in the other eye. I was blinded. There was
no way I could rob banks now. But then I thought of my powers. Would it
work? Could it work? It was worth a try. I put all my
energe and persperation into this power. The dizziness overcame me,
although it did slightly work. My eyes vanished, but I could see. I no
longer recieved dizziness when I cast a spell as I was out of control.
People didn't know what to say about me. Most people with special powers
or exceptional performance are called "heroes". But I wasn't the good
guy - even though I was technically a hero. They couldn't call me "Hero
Brian". So what did they call me?
