Poetry! Who doesn't love poetry?
This one is a bit shorter than other writings I've released and came out sounding a bit like something out of a children's book, but honestly, I think that sets up a nice vibe for it. So, yeah! Enjoy!
Ruins on the Cliff
Crack,
Clunk,
Crack,
Clunk,
Pickaxe after pickaxe
Up and up, up the cliff
A perilous climb,
Yards high,
To a ruin
A ruin far above
A final clunk,
Atop the cliff,

Up and up, up the cliff
A perilous climb,
Yards high,
To a ruin
A ruin far above
A final clunk,
Atop the cliff,
At the ruins
The climber has arrived
Long forgotten
Forever abandoned
A place of peace,
At the ruins on the cliff
(As I said, it sounds like it came from a children's book. But that's alright!)
