Hey guys, stiggybird here just explaining how to run Minecraft using custom amounts of RAM allocated to it.
First of all, here is a link to a zip file containg .bat files that you can use to launch Minecraft with either 2, 4, 6 or 8GB of RAM dedicated to it:
http://www.mediafire.com/?nnk12xah82fvkv9
Simple run the relevant .bat file, and it will launch Minecraft with that amount of RAM allocated to it. You can also change the amount of RAM allocated by editing the memory in the batch file using notepad.
Enjoy!
