For all of us minecraft users, we want to make a server for friends, or a giant server for the whole world to play on!

The first step to making a server: Have the right mindset. Dont make a server just to want to get some easy cash - it doesnt work that way. Go into this project to achieve a goal, like getting certain amounts of people on the server at the same time, or a certain amount of donations, etc.

The second step: Having A Website. If you want to make a popular server, make a website. I suggest using Enjin. Enjin is an easy game website creator for servers. The Cost: Nothing! This website creator is free! It starts you of with plenty of tutorials to watch if you need help, and has support. It offers a Paid plan, but you dont need to buy it. The paid plan helps you by giving you more options to customize your website.

The third step: Make the server! There are two ways to go with this, make it the hard way, or buy it the easy way. Making it yourself requires Port-Fowarding, and some more technical things. I'd suggest searching Youtube "How to make a minecraft (version) multiplayer server". The other side: Buying a server. If any server hosts say they're free, its a lie. Most likely they charge you for certain things, and it doesnt work. The only way is to buy it. The server hosts you want to look for are hosts that have you pay $1 per player slot - Possibly lower. Also look out for discount codes or special promo offers. Ex. 10% off 3 months, 20% off 6 months, etc. Also make sure it has multiple options for type of servers, like Vanilla, Bukkit, Technic Launcher, FTB Server, Pixelmon, etc.

Sites I Reccomend:
TreePuncher: Has discounts and everything listed above. Link: Click Me!
HostHorde: Has easy plans and setup. Link: No Click Me!
MCProHosting: More Easy Plans, Great Billing Cycle, Multiple Easy Plasn, and more! Link: Im The Best!

Thats it for this tutorial! Hope this helped you! Comment below if you have any questions. Like if this helped you, and diamond if this started you a giant server with many players!

Hey i just tried this out. It is VERY good. But with 1 problem. I tried to run the server, it said exactly, "Server cannot start! Too many servers are running! Please try again." Say i wanted to start a server right now, i couldnt. Also, it has lots a custimizable options but only 10 slots at max. Thats my review on it! Hope this helped!

Yeah thats the only problem. Another would be the restriction to only 10 slots. Otherwise its great.

What about CloudMc.co.uk? It's new, but it has some good reviewes from people I know. Plus they have a free server option that get's re-stocked almost every week.

I've looked over this site, and it looks pretty good. The free plan also works - which is suprising. If your already using this, then great. But it lacks some custimization other Hosting sites use. Hope this helped!

What lacks in custimization? It offers everything but direct ftp access. This does not matter anyway as they have a great built in file manager.

My opinion on cubed host is simple. Its a nice, easy custimizable host, but a bit pricey. It costs $1.75 per player. On MCProHosting its $0.50 per reccomended player. On HostHorde its $1.25. So its very custimizable if youd like a nice complex server, but at a little higher the cost. Hope this helps!
