Hello, I am a server owner so I know the difference from good staff and bad staff. (Not trying to advertise)

The server had been up for a week and I needed to go out for 2 days, I wasn't the only owner so I assumed the server would be ok with the other owner and my mods and trial mods. As soon as I get to a place with internet I check my phone and find a ton of messages from one of my mods and a trial mod. The messages supplied evidence of what was happening - the other owner was abusing powers. At the time I was confused on what was happening, so I left it until I got home. When I got on to the server loads of people kept telling me to demote some of my staff. I didn't understand why so I promoted the trial mod to mod. People got so mad. The other owner came on and I demoted him, everything got so pissed off, they don't play anymore. :c Ohwell, it's better to have less players rather than a lot who don't even play properly.

The moral to this story is that you can't always trust someone but you can't always believe what people tell you.

Tips:
#1 - If a player joins and straight away asks for staff, don't let them have it. Make them play for a bit and then make them fill out an application.
#2 - Don't give them loads of permissions straight away.
#3 - Demote them if they're not doing their job.
#4 - Make sure you give them the rules on what to do as a staff member - IMPORTANT.
