Story Of The Week is a series I started. The idea is that I will write a story each Monday, right here, on this blog. You, the reader, can submit comments saying what the subject of the next story should be!!!

Story #1: Week 1:
It was happening again. I was being dragged, dragged into that other world, the world of faded colours and silent noises. I gagged, and collapsed to the floor. The last thing is saw was my friend's shocked face, leering over me like she had no idea what was happening. That she had no idea that I was entering a different dimension...
Slowly, I opened my eyes. I was back in the classroom, or at least I thought it was the classroom. There were no colours; everything was monochrome. The once vivid, bright orange paint had been reduced to a light milky grey. All the room was exactly the same as I had left it. My exercise book, half open, the word 'accounting' half written, a faint black line indicating the point where I had fainted. The people were exactly where there were left too, but not in the way you'd expect. They were glowing. Glowing. Blue. Red. Green. You name it. Most people were glowing a bright purple. After a couple of visits to this dimension, I had begun to realize the reason why they glowed. It was emotion. The colour indicated their current emotion. I was guessing purple meant shocked, but the gang of girls were yellow, happy. Laughing at me. I had never liked them.
I felt a pull at my leg and I was shoved back towards the ground. In slow-motion, the world filled with colour again, like someone had spilled a bucket of paint. The glowing ceased, and the children began to move again. Noise returned to my ears. "Alli! ALLI! What happened?" called my friend.
"You never would've guessed." I replied.
