Once again, I have come across a question I would like to address. Should Minecraft have realistic weather? Now, me being a total perfectionist (I admit,) I believe so. Having realistic weather would have several benefits. First, it would have an aesthetic appeal, making an already beautiful game have that little bit of more beauty. It could also possibly add a quite interesting addition to survival. You would likely have to deal with harsh conditions, making survival not just more of a challenge, but make it even more fun and interesting. It would make the blocky world of Minecraft a world to be in awe by, and a world to be reckoned with. But in the end, the decision is yours.

I'd say make it optional when creating the world and using a command like /realisticweather [on/off]

I think if anything, it should be in hardcore mode only. Say tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, snow hurricanes, etc. Stuff that would be hard to survive, but doable enough to keep in fun.

Not hard at all, just move to cave.

What if there's none nearby? It would make it harder. I'd say make it optional when creating the world and using a command like /realisticweather [on/off]

that on/off is definitely a good idea. Also i think floods and hurricanes dont really care if you're in a cave lol

Okay, true true.. I mean unless you're on a ground level cave, i guess it'd be a good way to survive. Although the weather would be random..

so i mean unless you spent your entire game in one cave without exploring the world whatsoever, it should still be really difficult to time.

Sometimes, less is better, I'm sorry, but I disagree. Minecraft was voted an indie dev game for its simplicity. Any age can play this game. Smaller kids are too young to understand the pros and cons of different weather. And will result in less buying due to the confusing idea.
