A lot of people ask for skin requests from other people, and to that I say "Don't trouble these people, just make your own skin!" But many people have trouble with skin making, so....

1. If you're making a skin based off of a character from a video game, movie, or any othr kind of media, bring up a tab in your web browser and look at a picture of who you're trying to make. Skins will always look better if you include a bit of detail instead of making a skin based off of memory.
2. This message has been deleted. Lol.
3. A VERY good shading technique is simply making the corners of each part of your skin darker and then making the middle lighter. Find a way to blur that and make it a bit opaque, and you'll have a great, professionl shading job in no time! :D
4. ANOTHER shading technique is much easier but doesn't look very good. (That's my opinion.) Simply make the top of the skin light and make the skin darker as it goes down.
Well, I really hope this helped! Aaaaaand I don't know what else to say now....
Peace m8s.

7.3.5.3 Banned Skinning Programs
There are a number of tools used to create Minecraft skins that are not allowed to be used to create skins submitted to Planet Minecraft because they violate the rules on part picking and provide libraries of parts to use, many taken from popular skins without the original creator's consent. The Global Ban list for skinning tools is given below, though the list does not show all tools that are not allowed.
Be careful about what you encourage.
