Hey, guys. Today I'll be talking about a somewhat milked topic that I'll be adding new light to - the topic of stolen skins.

What's the big deal? So someone thought they wanted to take your skin. You get mad. Blah, blah, blah, same story that's been on the blog page exactly 184,528 times before I lost count. Just kidding, I didn't count that. But seriously.

The thing no one ever talks about is the skin stealer's side of the story. Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling them unsung heroes who need their story told!! But really. About a year ago, when I was lazy and I made shadingless skins with monotone hair, clothes, and the like, I would often pirate PMC or NovaSkin to find hair bases for the characters I was too "busy" to do myself. That's why I can tell this part: I was in it. Boy, was I a noob...

People may also steal skins because they need the XP. People don't want to work hard enough to make good skins that will earn them XP, so they take others' hard work and use it to help themselves. I promise I wasn't in this category. I was making my friend a skin for her roleplay and didn't want to try to design the outfit, so I - gulp - took someone's skin from PMC. I REPENT, WHOEVER OWNS THE SKIN I STOLE!

Then there's the fact that they may have just flat-out liked the skin. They may be jealous of your awesome skinning skills and wish they could be half as talented as you. So they take your skin and pretend to be the owner simply because they thought you were cool. You have to admit, it's flattering, but also super annoying when they're like "omg i am liek the best skiner evr so giv me dimends cuz i am good skinr!" Just... just... no.

So why do people steal skins? Because they're lazy. Skin stealers are basically new people/dumb people that don't want to try to make skins themselves, so they remix or copy others' skins. I personally am against such unwillingness to work and think that skin stealers need to
GET A LIFE.
