Skindex has been lying to us!

I know this is about Skindex but I want the PMC community to be safe, I mean even Skindex removed my Skindex post about this I'm getting sus.
Recently when I download stuff from Skindex it uploads an exe file instead, one day I was deleting them until one didn't delete. Again and again and again I tried, but it didn't work until it said that windows had detected a virus and had me reset! The file was removed so Skindex is uploading files, as mentioned I posted about this but Skindex deleted this. So Please mods don't remove this I want the Pmc community to be safe.

i send my friend a skin that was on skindex and i didint know skindex wasen't safe so he got a virus on his computer

I downloaded an exe and thankfully deleted it before it could finish downloading. I also instantly scanned afterwards. At first I thought it was hacked but now that I think about it.

What if they put the exe's on there?

i use ublock origin and it still downloaded the exe, cant be an ad, something i did notice is that sometimes when i would download a skin it would pop up at the top of the screen and say it blocked a pop up from appearing but that doesnt confirm it as being an ad though.

That's interesting.... I've never incountered that over the course of my year on Skindex (I use Skindex the most tbh) I hardly download skin thou tbh unless its a skin someone made for me

I am kind of confused, the last time I downloaded a skin made by someone else on Skindex, it did not download a .exe file, and also I downloaded a random Skindex skin becasue somebody called Skindex out for this exact same reason.
