Skylie's Minecraft

Beach side house surrounded by trees

There hides creatures great and small

I craft axe after axe after axe

I’m getting ready for a brawl



With creepers and zombies

But chickens and sheep I meet

I hit them again and again

Well, a girl has to eat



Trees are attacked for their wood

Wood I need for planks and sticks

Some aren’t crafted at all

They’re needed for house bricks



Soon day fades and night appears

So I hurry straight back home

Back to safety and my bed

Watching the creatures roam



Can’t risk the outside now

My skills aren’t up to a lot

A zombie comes to my door

Luckily he can’t do naught



I laugh to myself and wave

Safe inside my special place

Then I stare at my weapon

Wondering if it’s just a waste



Maybe it was time to be brave

And give fighting another go

I wield my axe and open up

Trying to put up a good show



But he hits hard and I die

So I respawn once more

What else can I do?

I can’t ever win this war
