Me and a team of Builders, Architects, Coders and Developers have been planning an idea. An idea that is to create the world of Skyrim, the greatest RPG setting seen in the 21st century, in Minecraft. We plan to make this a server with custom plugins, a custom texture pack, and even the ability to expand the world of Skyrim, creating Cities, Nations and Holds throughout it. So, what about it?

But it's been done before...

This has only ever been attempted before. We plan to make this the greatest RPG experience ever, all based around the world of Skyrim. We will recreate the experience in a way that has never been done before by anyone. If anyone is better, I will tear down the server and build it again, making it better overall. But I won't have to do that. This project will have major planning, execution and concept, all being perfect. The result will be... well, I can't say yet.

Haha, I bet you don't even have a server to build on, do you?

We certainly do. Our server is hosted by NitroHosts, a cheap, effective service that can suit our needs well. The server has 1.5Gb of Ram, 36 Slots, 99% Uptime, and No lag. All this to build our map on... for just £7. Not bad at all, eh?

Okay, how will you make it the best Skyrim RPG experience?

We plan to make this the best out there for a number of reasons. The first one is the reason we are recruiting coders to help with this project. All or most of our plugins will be custom made, coded to suit our server perfectly and always be unique to our server. The second... is as simple as the way the world will look. Huge mountains, accurate representations of cities and other landmarks will make this experience all the more like the world itself. We plan to have a world where players can find the thieves guild, without any knowledge, without any other source, and control it, recruiting new members as they see fit. That is just one of the in-dev examples of our experience that is being created.

Well, it must be huge!

Well, here is a part where a lot of mathematics had to be done. However, it is what I have to do to get this project spot-on. So, here it is...

Skyrim= 16 Square miles. 1 Square mile= 2,589,988 Metres x 16. Square route of total is 6,478 Metres.

So, project is 6,478 x 6,478 Blocks. Yes my friends, this is Skyrim on a 1:1 Scale. This project will have all the sights to see, all at the right size when in comparison... yet again making it feel more... Real. This is yet another reason why this project will be the most unique.
