Everyone wants to be popular.
Especially on Planet Minecraft.
So you want to be popular?
Well here are some suggestions that will benefit both your and my experience on these website.

1: Be Original

You've heard this a lot, probably. But seriously, in order for people to like your work, they need it to be a good original idea. No more "More Ores" or "Herobrine" mods, no more effortless 1x1 texture packs, and no more 2-D pixel arts.

Here are some ideas:

Mods:

Make a cool mod that people will want to use.
For example, make a dimension mod, or a new biome mod.
Make a mod that adds new machines or fantastical mobs.
Make a mod that adds more enchantments. I love those.

Texture Packs:

Make an original texture pack, with a consistant theme.
For example, make a 32x32 Doctor Who texture pack.
I reviewed one of those on my Youtube Channel.
If you make something that no one has seen anything of,
Youtube Content Creators like me will review your pack
and show it to our viewers. You can also make a subject
for a texture pack. For example, a School texture pack,
or a '80s texture pack.

Skins:

Make an original creature. I know, it's hard to make so
many combinations of colors to look so good with
about 128 pixels, but you can try. I'm not the greatest
skinner in the world. But I make new ideas for skins,
not just making enderman skins and changing 3 pixels.

Projects:

Make a house. Sure, if you do a good job, you can get
like 5 diamonds. But the community wants more. The
community wants something that they can play around
with, but a house... is a house. It looks cool with a certain
texture pack or something, but all the viewers can do is look at it.

2: Make A Good Thumbnail

People want things that look attractive. People are actually more
likely to click on a picture with no thumbnail as oppose to one with
a bad thumbnail.

3: Interact With The Community

Be nice,
Take feedback,
and be an active member.
The viewers will know that you are dedicated, and if
you add suggestions that they give you, the submissions
will be more personalized for them, making it better.
