Introduction

"A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down."

Hey guys, it's blog time. Anyway, a lot of my good PMC friends have been posting blogs like this lately, so I decided
to give my spin on it. This will be a longer blog of mine...and possibly on the better side, so I hope you enjoy.

The Steps

1.) Chat

Chat is a very good way to meet new people. 24/7 there are about 30 people on chat...it almost never dips below that. Don't worry, this is step number one for a good reason!

2.) Don't Troll

Don't even think about it. Even if you only did something troll-full a year ago. Reputation is gold, if you did something to someone a long time ago, they will most likely remember you and warn others about you. Your reputation is now mud.

3.) Be Outgoing

If you are eager to meet new friends that can help you out, don't just sit there and listen to the "bleep" sound of new messages, get involved! People are more inclined to be friends with you if you have a strong personality.

4.) You're New?

If this is one of your first times on PMC, have no fear. If you're new to PMC, be sure to read the full rules. Once you're all done with that, head on over to chat! Once there, feel free to introduce yourself! People will be happy to meet you!

5.) True Friends

In PMC, once you've been around a few days, people will know who you are, and hopefully like you. Through this course, it is good if you find TRUE friends on PMC. What I mean by this, is, that friends who relate to you, have the same interests, and do the same type of work you do on PMC. It is a very good thing to do to have close friends on PMC that can help you out on your work, give you a competitive edge, and most-definitely, give you someone to talk to when all else fails. Thankfully, through my time on PMC I have stumbled across a few great friends, linked at the bottom of this blog.

6.) Groups n' Such

I think it would be VERY cool, if PMC implemented features on social media websites such as groups, or friendship. All in all, it would make the PMC experience WAY cooler, and would give more ways to stay in touch with your friends.

Conclusion

After this blog, I hope that you will have learned something, and hopefully, you will take this advice into your own hands. Thank you SO much for reading my blog, and all other things I do on PMC. If you would like any advice, or have any tips or suggestions for me, feel free to leave them via comments or PM. As promised, here is a list of my great friends I have made on PMC.

Don't be fooled by the picture, friendship is worth WAY more than 16 points!

I thought this was a good blog, I liked it :). I agree with the overall message of the need to socialize.

Just a few sugestions I could think of.
-when you find your picture, try to avoid the pictures with "shutershock" or any other business logos on them. Not that its bad, just that some people are what I like to call "neatfreaks"
-In the future, try working on the format of the blog so that its in depth. Have fun and get creative, try something new, add in some flashy pictures.

I'm not trying to be mean or critical, just thought I could tell you some blogging things I've learned. Well i liked this blog, and look forward to whats coming next :)

Thank you so much for your suggestion!
The only reason I put that pic in there was really for the pun at the end :P
