hi there! this is my first blog post and i wanted to share some pics i made to help with color palettes!

the pictures go from 3 colors to 7 colors. how does this help you ask? they have the colors where each color touches each other.

but how do you color one part in one go? i don't know if these settings i'm about to show you are close to art programs other than paintdotnet, but i'm going to show what i do on that art program.

i hope you'll be able to figure out how to do it! ok so first of all,

once you have the image in the program, grab the Paint Bucket

some shapes i made for colors

set the Flood Mode to Global, the Tolerance to 0%, and Antialiasing to Disabled.

the global setting makes the bucket color all of the same shade on the image at once. the tolerance at 0 will make it only color that specific color and none that are similar. the antialiasing disabled makes it so the bucket doesn't overflow to the other colors.

if you did it right it would look something like this:

after

i hope these images help you in some way!

ok i'm just gonna spam all the pics now

if an image ends up blurry, make sure to right click it and open the image in a new tab!
