Hey-oh all you boys and ghouls of all ages! -Oh, wait. I mean girls. Whoops! As you can tell from this readable somewhat orange yet brown font, it's finally Spooky Scary Blog Month 2018!

Yes, it's that time of the year again, where we get to wear costumes in public without being judged for it and- Huh? What's that? It's September!? Well, screw the Magikarps! It's never too late for Halloween! For our first blog of this terrifying month, let me talk about the most terrifying place of earth that everybody had to go through... School.
back to school
I know! I can hear your moans and groans from over here! I've hated that place too, despite the good teachers I've had over the years. Heck, I've even had a few rotten apples as well. Thankfully, I've finally graduated from that heckhole without dropping out, with a full 12 years gone and behind me. Some of you still have a few years to go or are considering dropping out, and from someone like me, I recommend that you shouldn't drop out so you're not that moron who works at McDonalds and can't even spell "intelligent" right on a resume. And for 12 whole years of mental scars and physical pain, what's my opinion of it? Well, here's the thing: It's different for everyone.

Some might have a crappy Elementary era and then have a good Middle/High School life. Others might have a great Elementary period and then a crappy Middle/High School phase. Rarely enough, you could think both of these eras were great or awful. Where do I fit exactly? Well, I thought Elementary School was awesome, Middle School was crap, and High School was okay. Any homeschool or online schoolers can leave their opinions in the comments, because I've never pulled off any of that, nor will I ever do so. For this blog in general, I'm going to talk about what I remember from each phase and my verdict from them. I will mostly be skipping K-3rd grade, because I can't remember that far back to what I did in those grades, except the fact that if we were good kids, we got to eat McDonalds on friday every 2 weeks. Without further ado, let's get started with that amazing part of life known as Elementary School.

Elementary School:

Oh, man! Elementary school was my jam! From 4th-6th grade, this period of my life was the holy grail of childhood innocence. From Bakugan, Beyblades, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Pokemon, Tech-Decks, Go-gos Crazy Bones, Silly Bands, and even Trash Packs, these toys were the big factors on whether you were cool or not. Sure, there were sports fans, but they couldn't compare to the cool kids who would sit on the grass or asphalt trading and battling these things like crazy. Yeah, get your stupid fidget spinners out of here! Back in my day, we spun Beyblades, and we liked it! Sorry if I acted a bit egotistical there. We kind of acted like that during this era, and I apologize if I hurt any of your feelings. Keep liking what you like, and never stop liking it. Digressing aside, this was the period where I also made a lot of friends that stuck with me to this day. Back then, our friendships were unbreakable. We all treated life like it was a TV show and used our imagination to create our own games and scenarios. Also, lunch was the best time to trade and play with table toys like Bakugan and Yu-Gi-Oh. We constantly argued over the fairness of trades, but in the end, it was all cool.

But not all was fun and games in the elementary school I went to. We had things to watch out for like toy bans and the dreaded... *breathes in* Yellow slips. *shrudders* Those things always brought a chill up my spine! I only got one throughout my entire life, and that was in first grade because I had no idea what bullying was and how to deal with it, so I punched that kid in the face. Side note, I was taller than that kid (Yup, even as a small child, I was the tallest girl in the class), and I never really counted it as a "bullying" incident due to the fact I never got bullied once to this day. There was even work, but I enjoyed the teachers and material enough to forget about it and consider it as "fun knowledge" in my brain. What's that, you asked? It's basically a personal term of just simple facts you knew from heart, but in reality, you just forgot the lesson that taught you it in the first place. For example, multiplying is "fun knowledge" because you know how to do it, but you forgot the specific lesson that taught you about it in the first place.
When the only things my friends complain about is how much going to school sucks

Fun: 10/10 I enjoyed every second of it and I love it to pieces!
Learning: 7.5/10. Basic knowledge that was taught well, but the lessons are easily forgotten overtime.
Mental Scar Prevention: 9.5/10. I could only recount a few terrible memories, but other than that, I loved the community over there so much!

Overall: 27/30, 90% [A-]. The best school era of all time!

Now that Elementary School is done, let's get into the real garbage... Middle School. Why me...?

Middle School/Junior High/Whatever You Want to Call it, Screw It:
Be careful - meme
Just imagine this: You just "graduated" from Elementary School, and you're off telling your friends that you're hoping to meet each-other again over there and to bring their Bakugan and/or Beyblades so that you can have even more epic battles and adventures at a new and exciting place. Once you've waited long enough, you find your old friends, but you find out they never brought any Bakugan/Beyblades along with them and you're the only one who did. "Maybe they just forgot!" You thought to yourself. The next day arrives, and everyone has moved on from Bakugan and Beyblades. All they're talking about is *gasp!* shoes and sports! What a shocker! They weren't that popular when you were in elementary school! Soon after, the school invents online grading just to slap you in the face with the harsh reality that life isn't about sunshine and rainbows. This is a prison of learning, and you better get used to it or else your parents will yell at you and take away your toys/TV/computer/video-games just for getting a D+ in math class. You are only left with a few friends to face puberty with and the new changes you have to deal with... Until high school. Now you see why I hated this place so much!? *sigh* Well, 7th grade in particular sucked for me.
Funny meme about beyblades being a sport, art, art meme, classicalfuck.
During the middle of suffering through that year, I started to get a weird pain in my stomach. It wasn't shark week, no. That was only when I was 16. Not only that, it made me feel like I was going to cry, at school or at home. Since I was known as the happy-go-lucky child with nothing wrong with me, I endured it, ignored it, and had a few visits with my toilet every once in a while. Later in life, I found out these were symptoms of anxiety, and I sighed of relief, being thankful that I never knew what those symptoms meant, because if I did, I would've been a crying mentally scarred mess for about a year. 8th Grade, however, was the year I started to find the real self aware me hidden inside, and not the anxiety prone 7th grader that went to the toilet every couple of seconds. I gathered a few new friends, started to say "Hi" to everyone in the hallway, and suddenly I became the most popular girl in school. What really made me popular was the day where everything changed called "Fuzzy Slipper Day." It's just a day where you can wear slippers to school, but during this year, these particular slippers called Stompeez were extremely popular. I remember begging my mom to get me Stompeez at Walmart just so I could be popular, and all they had in my size were the bunny ones and not the crocs I wanted, but I didn't care! I trampled down the hallway in pride with my Stompeez, and everyone loved me for about a day, especially during Reading class (Yeah, my school had that, along with other language-based ones). Besides 8th grade, this school era was the worst.
school memes: first day of school
Fun: 4/10. Besides 8th grade, there was no fun in Middle School.
Learning: 5/10. If only they didn't shove online grading down everyone's throats, I would remember the lessons and facts more!
Mental Scar Prevention: 2/10. No matter who are, even if you are the happiest person alive, there is no escape from mental health problems like depression, anxiety, etc. It's no joke!

Overall: 11/30, 37% [F-]. We don't speak it's name!
Poor creatures - meme
Okay, now that I've got that garbage out of the way, let's get to the part of my life that actually somewhat mattered, High School.

High School Musical:
highschool musical memes - Google Search
This part of my school life was... actually okay! Yeah, it's not elementary levels of great, nor is it as sucky as middle school. It's just... alright. I'm a little more optimistic when it comes to High School, but that's because I never got bullied, did drugs, succumbed to peer pressure, etc. It really matters on experience, and thankfully, this was a healthy one. I hung out with a cool set of kids at lunch, and that's the nerds. Ay, it's the best underrated group out there! Smart yet sick of school! The only few times toys were big was during 9th and 11th grade. 12th grade, I spent that year at a technical school where I got to care for preschoolers, so that's pretty neat, I guess. The teachers during these times were just too entertaining of you got on their good side. Like, one time in 11th grade, I actually had a High School Musical experience in gym class (and at the end of the year during 12th grade at the technical school I was in). I'm not even joking. I had so many friends in that class that we banded together and sung High School Musical songs, even if I had no idea what the lyrics were to some of them. We even sung Disney songs like Hakuna Matata and the infamous Be a Man song from Mulan. It was mesmerizing to say the least. Heck, the gym teacher didn't care. As long as we were doing a sport, we could do whatever we wanted. Just typing out those memories brought a smile to my face.

Now, during this era, this was the time I met a boatload of Steven Universe fans. Some Peridot fans, some Lapis ones, and even an Amedot shipper that I'm friends with to this day! Heck, in that same gym class in 11th grade, when we weren't singing High School musical songs, I would hang with my one Steven Universe friend who pulled off a really good Peridot impression and taught me how to draw like how a professional artist would. Yeah, you know that time I really upped in art quality on PMC? That was thanks to her.

In 9th grade (yeah, I know this is out of order. Shut up), we normally just played Uno and Yu-Gi-Oh, and since Pokemon X and Y came out at around that time, we played the crap out of it during lunch and even competitively battled each-other a couple of times! Oh, and if you're wondering why I never mentioned 10th grade, it was just a mediocre period of learning until the second half where I found my nerd herd. Plus, this was the grade I found out about the "This gender does not exist," "You were the chosen one," and "Wake me up inside" memes. You're welcome.
it's time to du du du du du du ......error
you were the chosen one
Fun: 8/10. Not bad from what you'd expect out of high school.
Learning: 6/10. Memorable, but not as useful information.
Mental Scar Prevention: 8/10. This depends on your personality, but I had no issues during this period! Well, maybe except shark week, but that's it.

Overall: 22/30, 73% [C-]. Singing in high school seems to be the thing that's cool, I guess.
High School Musical, Music, and School: randomly just paused high school

musical
School Score Overall: 60/90, 67% [D+]! You disappoint me, school. No Baldi's Basics for a week!
Oh Man GIF - Swiper Dora Man GIFs
Who know a high school graduate could still grade an actual school like how a teacher would to it's students. I mean, if the school I went to overall has a D+ in quality, the American Education System is doing something wrong, particularly in the middle school category! What was the thing that gave everyone (Including myself) temporary yet serious mental problems besides bullying and such? Oh, yeah. Online grading. Get rid of that crap right away. I'd prefer the old method of a surprise report card coming into my door. That way, I'd Hakuna Matata my way through my classes and give a crap about the material given to me instead of getting the fear of being yelled at by your parents for getting a D only a few days into the semester. Well, now you know why I personally think school is the most terrifying place on earth, and until my next blog (whenever that may be), don't forget to live life the porpoiseful way, because evil beware... You're in for a scare! Muahahahaha!

Speaking of school, I haven't checked my grades for this semester; ends on the 17th, 18th, or 19th.

Whoops, sorry about that, my fellow member of the grammar police! That's one of the words that I'm still mucked up at spelling to this day. Just fixed it as soon as I saw this comment. I think at the time I was probably oblivious and didn't notice the red spell check under that particular word. I promise that won't happen again... My bad. :P
