Whisper got up, brushing the snow from her jeans. She rubbed her face and looked around, Finn grinned at her, Lander looked relieved. She looked at herself. Indeed, she was human now. She still had wings, but her skin was a light tan shade. Her shard was still intact, it was now a deep blue with a splash of lavender and cyan with glittering white specks. “You’re… okay?” Lander asked.
“Yeah, I am.”
“Guys, what’s that?” Finn asked worriedly. He pointed to a purplish spot in the distance, like a nether portal, minus the obsidian.
“Let’s go check, race ya!” Whisper called. She grabbed her necklace and thought of near the portal. Desaturated blinding white filled her vision and she was there, no lightning cracked from the shard, no cracks. The spot looked like a rip in the fabric of space-time, some sort of portal. She touched the surface and it wavered and grew until a person could easily fit through.
“Whoa.” Finn gasped coming up behind her. “This is totally not ominous, not at all.”
“Yeah, totally.” Lander said sarcastically.
“What do we do now? Go through it?”
“...Yes, let's go,” Whisper murmured, staring at the mesmerizing dark swirls. “I’ll go first.” She stepped forward, her pets hugging her legs. The portal pulled her close and she leapt in. Whisper spun, head over heels, before quickly regaining her balance. It was like being in zero gravity.
Then she saw it, the side of the portal she’d just come through, it was closing. She propelled herself towards it grabbing the two sides and trying to pry them further open. Yet it was no use. She looked through the tiny crack and whispered, “Goodbye.” before turning around and making her way to the other side.
It was beautiful. The sky was a light blue, the sun getting lower in the sky. Trees dotted the landscape, and what looked to be a town or city sat on the horizon. A squeak sounded behind her and she looked down to see a dragon, no bigger than her dogs, looking at her. It must have come from the portal, maybe from a place similar to where she’d come from. She leapt off the ground and flew up onto Whisper’s shoulder.
“I think you should be called Nightshade, like the plant. You look harmless but you’re deadly.” She said, Her watch pinged and she looked at it. A message read: “Greetings Whisper and welcome to the Planet Minecraft Community (PMC)! We hope you will have and help contribute to a positive experience while here. Here is a map of where you are.”
“Oh cool! Actual useful Information!” Whisper muttered to herself, taking out her compass and flying north-east towards the city. Her dogs and cats ran below her, Nightshade swooping and spiralling around her. A few moments went by and then she saw something, or rather, someone, in the distance. Whisper squinted and coordinated to teleport near them. She came up behind her and tapped her shoulder.
“Hi, My name’s Whisper and I came from another dimension, I think. Who are you?”
“Oh, hi, My name's Trotelot. Your friendly neighbourhood arsonist. What are you doing here anyway?” Trot replied.
"I went through a portal with my pets and ended up here." Whisper said ruefully.
"Well, you're lucky that you came here, there are much worse places you could spend the rest of your days. How about I show you around?"
"Yeah, okay."
I decided to tie this in at the end with IGEBM's lore

1 - "PMC" stands for Planet Minecraft (which is what it always stood for, I believe), not Planet Minecraft Community.
2 - Nice that you tied this in with my lore. (I'm honored.) Maybe in the next update, I'll incorporate this into the lore somehow. I'll have to read the other 3 chapters, first, though, since I haven't done it yet.
3 - PMC (in my lore) doesn't have dragons. The only dragon in existence in my lore's version of the planet is the Ender dragon, which is in the End at the Obsidian Towers (a protected area according to the End Nation's laws)
