"Wait up, Jane!" Stephano yelled from across the field. "Can't catch me!" Jane giggled. Stephano The Knight and Jane The Adventurer were a happy couple. They were also wolves.
Stephano and Jane weren't always this happy, and they weren't always wolves. Here is the story of how it all began.

STEPHANO
I was a guard knight in the beautiful kingdom of Venni. My queen, Vennia May Carla, was a friendly, kind, and beautiful ruler. Or so I thought.
The Queen was having an affair with King Louis from Louisdale. She told the kingdom that she had never loved the King, nor thy kingdom. I was astonished.
JANE
I was a killer. I loved my psychotic life with Jeff. We would terrorize villages together. No one could stop us, mostly because they were too afraid. Sometimes I think what life would be like if I was just a normal girl. I always shake those thoughts out of my head though. "Kill, Kill, Kill." That's what I always thought. I didn't know what was wrong with me.
One day Jeff told me we're going to the kingdom of Venni. My birthplace.
STEPHANO
The Queen was banished from Venni. Since the Queen's only child had passed, they would have to find a commoner to be queen.
The next day, around one hundred female commoners came to "audition" to be queen. Only one would be fit for queen. In the end, a beautiful young woman was chosen. Since my post was at the gate of Venni, I never really her. I was on look out for the two killers, Jane and Jeff.
JANE
I had never told Jeff I was the Queen's daughter. He would think I would go back to Venni and leave him. My real name was Janemia Maria Carla.
When Jeff and I traveled to Venni, we stopped at the gate. I peered at the knight standing by the gate. "Stephano?" I thought. Stephano was my best friend when I was growing up. But then I was taken away from him by Jeff. I couldn't let Stephano see me. I whispered to Jeff, "Why don't you go ahead, I'll catch up."
STEPHANO
"Halt. Who goes there?" I ask the man who walked up to me, wanting to enter the kingdom. "I come bearing gifts for the new queen, a peace offering from Louisdale." The man said, not showing his face from under his cape's hood. "Louisdale, you say? I'm afraid I cannot let you in." I reply. Louisdale is now our enemy.
JANE
I heard Jeff grunt and walk away from the gate. I walked towards him, questioning what happened. "Apparently Louisdale is now Venni's enemy. We'll have to climb the wall," he replyed. I nod, and hestantly walk up to the face of the wall, grasped a vine that was growing from it's cracks, and started to climb. Jeff following me close behind. I swiftly jumped down and gaze at the kingdom.

STEPHANO
After what had just happened I was on full look out for anything suspicious. The other wall guard, Augustus, had apparently heard something from the other side of the wall. "Wait here," he told me. He walked down the wall, to find a small woman with a large hooded cape on. "How dare you trespass! Who are you?" He said, pointing his sword at the girl.
JANE
I stare at the guard who was pointing his weapon at me. I look up. Jeff was gone. How could he do this to me?
I see Stephano running towards me. He turns to the other guard and says, "How did this happen? Did she climb the wall?" "It seems so." He says and reaches down to take off my hood. I quickly dodge his hand. I couldn't let Stephano see who I was. "Miss, you are breaking this kingdom's law. It is forbidden to climb the wall. We must know who you are."
STEPHANO
Something seemed familiar to me. Is this girl the killer? I put my hand on her shoulder and swiftly pull off her hood. I couldn't believe who I saw. Janemia?
I told Augustus I could handle this one, grabbed Janemia's hand, and walked her to my place. I couldn't let the "dead" princess be punished for sneaking into her own kingdom. I couldn't let my childhood best friend be punished.
JANE
Stephano said nothing while he led me to his house. Once we got there, he ushered me inside and closed the door. "Janemia Maria Carla... everyone thought you were dead. Once they find out I'm giving you hospitality, they'll punish us both. Even if you are the princess and I a knight."
I couldn't say anything except, "I-I'm sorry." His response wasn't so friendly, "You have been "dead" for five years! Where have you been when everyone thought you were dead, including me?" "The...The night I so called "died", I was actually just taken away from my home by..." If I sold out Jeff he would never forgive me. It was worth it after what he did to me in those five years.
"By Jeff the Killer."
STEPHANO
I couldn't believe the killer was the one to take away the beloved Janemia. Would that mean... "Are..are you Jane the Killer?" "Yes." Her reply nearly tore through my heart. Now they won't only punish her, they'll kill her.
Janemia had grown beautifully, besides the fact that she was a killer. Her black velvet hair swept over her shoulder, and bangs covering her face. Her bright blue eyes shined. I did have a crush on her before she left five years ago.
I wondered what Jeff could of done to sweet and innocent Janemia to make her turn to the devil... "Janemia, what did Jeff do to you?"
JANE
I imagined all of the things Jeff had done to me to finally make me follow him. "He...He torchered me..." I gulped in fear of living through what he had done to me. "He torchered me until I had no hope that I could escape him. So I just gave in." Stephano's eyes looked so sad.
I couldn't help but stare at his perfectly structured face through all of this. His dirty blonde hair was all ruffeled up from wearing his helmet. No wonder I kind of fell for him before I was taken away.
STEPHANO
I felt anger, no, rage for what Jeff had done to Jane to make her a killer. I wanted Jeff to be caught, but not Janemia. Not my beloved Jane. I couldn't let them take her away, because I still have feelings for her after all of these years. After she turned into a killer. "Jane, I mean Janemia-" "You can call me Jane," she smiled. "Jane," I said. "Do you still think about killing innocent people?"
JANE
"No!" I half shouted. "Not since Jeff told me we were coming to Venni. I couldn't kill anyone in my town. Especially not if you were there." When I had seen him at the gate of Venni, I had flashbacks of all the memories Stephano and I had. "Stephano, I thought about our friendship every day I was gone. I held onto those memories. Even if they were buried deep in my brain behind all of the pyschotic thoughts that were put into my brain by Jeff."
STEPHANO
"I did too. I thought about you and our memories each day you were gone. I was always hopeful that you would come back one day." Her shy smile was so sweet. I obviously couldn't hold a grudge for her, and she was forced to do all of those things.
"Remember that park we used to play at all the time?" I wanted to remind her of some happy memories.
JANE
"You mean the park where you tried to do a flip off of a bench and ended up breaking your arm?" I giggled. I could see his cheeks turn red. "Yea, that one." He replied. "Is it still there?" I asked. "It is." He said happily. "Would you like to visit it?" I smiled and nodded.
"It'll only be a matter of time before they discover you're here. I don't know what they'll do to a former princess who had become a murderer." He said as we arrived at the park. "I'll try to hold them back while you run as far from here as you can." "But what about you? Will you be okay?" I questioned. "I am will to accept my punishment if it means your safety. I don't want anything to happen to you, Jane." I didn't want Stephano to be punished for my behavior. "I can't let you do that, Stephano," I say as I make eye contact with him. "I can't let you be punished for something I have done. I won't run from this." His eyes looked so sad.
STEPHANO
"Something's wrong." I could see two mothers corner eye-ing us while speaking to each other. I couldn't exactly make out what they were saying but it was along the lines of "Is that the princess?" and "I thought she was dead!" "We have to get out of here, Jane." I whispered. She nodded, noticing the women as well.
But it was too late for that. I could see castle guards coming towards us. Someone grabbed me from behind and held my hands back. Guards. I watched as they grabbed Jane. "Jane!" They were taking her away.
