DO NOT HATE ON ME.
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING THIS KTHX.
RESPECT MY OPINIONS, AND I WILL RESPECT YOURS.
THANK YOU.
Now, we all know of a very serious and growing problem not just on PMC, but other minecraft skin websites such a Skindex, SkinChache, etc...
Stolen skins.
But so far, most of the skins I see stolen almost never get reported at all. Which brings the question: Will we let stolen skins spam skinning websites?
Now, that is a very obvious answer for some. But for others, stolen skins are normal to come across on, so often in fact that they don't even take the time to report it.
It really saddens me to see that I hardly ever see other members stepping up to the whole, "Flag and report any stolen skins you see." policy. But maybe it's just me. Either way, we all need to make sure that this spam of stolen skins does not make their way onto pop reel, and instead check the recent skin section every now and then for any graphic/stolen skins. Obviously mods are doing this as we speak, but we all need to lend a hand, because no matter how hard the mods try, they can't report every single stolen skin out there. Remember, next time you see a stolen skin, let alone any skin that brakes the skin policy on PMC, take a few minutes to flag and report it for the sake of the original skin's owner, and your fellow PMC members. Also, this does not just apply to skins, but mods, texture packs, and projects.
So the moral of this article is, basically, to stop being lazy and just report stolen skins. Simple, right? Sure. But some of you will still probably not do it anyways, which it fine. But for those of you who will, props to you. Because if we work together, we can lower the number of stolen skins out there on just not PMC, but Minecraft skinning websites all over the Internet.
