Just some story I've been working on

Magebound :: CHAPTER ONE :: Beginnings :: ASHLING POV
It was a silent night at first, but as my aunt and uncle came back from work, I heard them shouting at each other. I was only 6 at that time, but I understood every word they said. "You think she'll be okay here?!" my uncle cried out, making me jump. "She can't stay here! We can't take care of her, why can't you send her away?!!" My parents died in a car accident that time, I had no one to go to, no place to stay. My aunt and uncle--- my only aunt and uncle--- are the only ones left. My grandparents are too old to take care of me; nor take care of themselves.

"Her parents died in a car crash! Where else could she go? She has no place to run to, no family to go back to; only us!" my aunt cried out. Tears started to trickle my face. I didn't know but it felt cold. My tears felt cold in the hot room. "We can't keep her! She doesn't belong! Didn't you know about her parents?" I heard my uncle say. My aunt made a shushing sound. "Shh! You do realize she's in the next room!?" she said. After that they argued silently. Something sparkled through the rain out the window. I didn't know, but it felt as if it was calling me. As I heard the door of my room being opened. I quickly acted as if I was sleeping. "See? She didn't hear a thing about what we said! She's asleep!" my uncle cried out. But they didn't know, I actually wasn't asleep.

I was never wanted in this world.

Nobody liked me, so I never liked anyone. "Ashling, did you do your homework?" my aunt asked me. "Yes, I did, auntie." I say, a bit too harsh than I wanted it to be. I grabbed my lunch and I started walking to school. The kids stared at me on their way to school. I never stared at them back, they don't need anymore thoughts about me.

Last year, I dyed the back of my hair black. My aunt told me that it ruins what was perfect about me. My uncle told her that I looked like an "emo" kid. I didn't really care about my appearance. All I cared about was that people would leave me alone.

People told me I looked like a freak.

Who cares? It's not like I'd rot in Hell for that. I don't even believe in it anyways.

As I reached my school, the school bus already arrived. I noticed the same sparkling particle from the rainy day where my aunt and uncle fought over whether I should stay or not. I wondered if it meant something. It was light blue and it sparkled a couple of times before disappearing. I walked towards my school after that.

I arrived at my classroom door a few minutes later.

As I walked in, my classmates stared at me with the same look of disappointment. "Wow, Ash, every year, on every first day of school, you always come in through that door with those same pair of jeans," Jaden, the kid who always make fun of me, snickers. "Don't you ever do laundry?" Everyone laughed. "That's not funny, Jaden. And no, I do my laundry every month. Beat it, shorty." I said, grinning at him evilly. Everyone stopped laughing and stared at Jaden's look of embarrassment.

Jaden was one of the shortest kids that I've ever met. I was always taller. I sat at my table. No one sat beside me. And the teacher thought it was fine. I thought it was lonely. But I grew into it.

I heard the soft footsteps of our teacher. Everyone went quiet. As our teacher came in, I saw the same sparkling particle as before. I blinked twice. Someone came in through the door just as I saw the sparkling particle fade. "Everyone, this is your new classmate, Tony," our teacher said, beckoning to a kid holding a stick in his hand. The kid had brown hair and green eyes. "Uh, um, hi." he said softly, slowly turning to look at me. "Okay, so who wants to sit next to Tony?" my teacher said, looking at all the people without a partner. "No way am I sitting with a dork who's holding a stick!" Jaden cried out from behind me. I turned to face him. "Would you rather sit with me then?" I say, grinning the same grin I gave him earlier. "Ew, no way," Jaden said.

"Ashling, how about you?" my teacher said. I turned to face him. I shrug. "Sure, I guess." I said to him. Tony's eyes sparkled with excitement. The teacher that came in with Tony left the classroom to go to the bathroom. Tony walked slowly. Someone caught his arm that was holding the stick. "Let go!" he cried out. Adam, the kid who caught his arm, leaned in to him. "Why are you holding that stick?" he snickered. "It's not a stick, now let go of me." Tony said, struggling free from his grip. Adam let go of his arm and Tony quickly walked to the seat next to me. He smiled at me and sat down next to me. Everyone stared at us. I heard whispers throughout the room. "What freaks..." I heard someone said. "They make a great couple.." another one whispered. I wanted to disappear right now. Why did I say yes to that?

It was recess and Tony still won't stop sitting next to me. He still held that weird stick. "Why are you holding that stick? You should eat," I said, just as I finish eating my apple. "It's not a stick, it's my wand. It's a Natural Mahogany Wand," he said, still not eating his food. I stared at him. "Tony, there's no such thing as magic, alright," I said, facing another direction.

"Why haven't you told anyone yet, Ashling?" he said, out of the blue. The cafeteria was suddenly silent. I looked around me and everyone wasn't moving. There was that same sparkling particle again. I looked at Tony and his eyes were full on green. "T-told what..?" I asked him. He smiled at me. "Why haven't you told anyone that you were alone? Why haven't you told them that you have no parents? Why haven't you told anyone that you have no one to go to; no one who loves you?" he said, frowning at me. I looked at him as if he was a ghost. "H-" I started, but I was cut off by Tony. "You don't need to hide your pain, it only makes it worse. You can tell me anything, even if I already know," he said, smiling at me. Just as he finished his sentence, his eyes were back to normal, and the cafeteria was noisy again. I breathed heavily.

"H-how did you do that?" I asked, stammering. Tony looked at me with a smile. He leaned closer and whispered into my ear. "I'm a mage, Ash. A third-class mage." he said.

Magebound :: CHAPTER TWO :: Portal to Another World :: TONY POV
I woke up one night to find my mother missing, my father, dead. The smell of death was very strong in my tree-house. I walked outside and everyone was dead. I was spared because my mother hid me under a blanket of leaves. She used up all her magic just to make me safe. I searched everywhere in the village for her. I reeked of the smell of blood.

A spirit told me that I should go to Earth to find someone strong enough to restore balance to the world. They said I was destined to restore the balance with said person. So I went to Earth, and I also searched for my mother.

Ashling stared at me with amazement. "So it's true! You are a mage!" she said, a bit too loud. "Shh! I don't want the other Earth dwellers to know." I said, putting my hand on her mouth. My cheeks burned as if they were on fire and I pulled my hand away from her mouth. We were hiding in a tree-house that I built with my magic deep inside the woods. "But we're far from the town and neighbourhood! Nobody can hear us!" Ashling said, snatching my wand to examine it. "C-careful! You might break it!" I cried out. Ashling gave it back to me when she was finished.

"I'm here because I need you to come with me." I said to her. Ashling suddenly stopped smiling. "W-wait--- no, I can't-- my aunt's gonna get worried sick-- a-and.. and I got friends.." Ashling said. I knew it was a lie. Because I already know how her life is. "No, your aunt will not get worried sick, and no, you have no friends, only me." I said. Ashling looked a bit dumbfounded.

"You have to come with me, or not we'll all die. I know you've seen the blue spirits, right?" I said, taking her hand. She pulled her hand away. "Why? Why would we all die? And-- and what blue spirits?" Ashling asked, fright filled her voice. I placed my hand on her shoulder. "The sparkling blue particles. They're trying to tell you that we're all going to die. We're all going to fall into internal darkness. The Worlds are failing to connect, once all Worlds lose connection to your world, I'll die, and so will you." I said.

Ashling looked away from my green eyes. Her hair was getting blown by the wind. She turned to look at me, her dark blue eyes sparkling with determination. "Sure, I'll go." she said and I smiled.

We were nearing the portal-gate, but we were stopped by Jaden, a kid who seemed to have disliked me and called me a dork. "Oh, look who I have here, the two dorks that seem to be on a little date," he said. "A date?" I asked, my cheeks red. "No, Jaden, we're not on a freaking date, we're just friends." Ashling said, pushing him away. "Wow, that was quick." Jaden said, mocking Ashling's tone. "Get out of our way," Ashling said, sweeping him off his feet.

We continued walking towards the portal-gate. Ashling was amazed by how it looked like. Basically the portal-gate was made by two stone spikes coming out of the ground. "Wait here, I'm gonna start opening the portal," I said, walking towards the middle of the two stone spikes. I pointed at the ground and muttered a few words.

Sparks flew and the portal opened up. Ashling's eyes were full of amazement. "Come on!" I called out to Ashling. Ashling hesitated for a moment, but she nodded and jumped through the portal along with me.

Ashling held on to my hand for so long. "We're going to Elysia, my world. Once we're through, the portal will deactivate, and we won't be able to open one in a few hours." I said, squeezing Ashling's hand. Ashling smiled once and gulped.

Magebound :: CHAPTER THREE :: Shadow :: AMBER POV
I was born different, no magic, no family, no nothing. All I ever knew was that I had my wand, and I could use it one day. The villagers told me that magic doesn't come to you at the age of one, it comes to you at the age of five, but I have never gotten my magic. Maybe I was magic-less? I would never know.

The village was attacked by the fire-demons, I was five at that time, I had nowhere to run or hide. The village chief told me to run as fast as I could. But he also casted a spell onto me. An Invisibility enchantment, to keep me away from the eyes of the fire-demons. I ran for about a kilometer. I collapsed near a huge tree.

I woke up, and part of me wanted to go back. Part of me didn't want to. I cursed the other part of me for wanting to go back. I ran back to the village and I saw a boy crawling out from under a blanket of leaves. He paused for a moment, and he started nodding. He started crying. I came closer and he jumped. "Wh-what happened here??" he asked me, clutching something that looked like his wand. I smiled at him and I realized that it wasn't the perfect time to be smiling, so I frowned afterwards. "My name is Amber, who are you? Th-they said the fire-demons attacked us, but... I didn't die because the village chief protected me." I said. The boy started crying even more. "M-my name is"-- sniff --"T-Tonyc"-- sob --"My mommy is g-gone"-- sob --"and my daddy's de-dead," he said. I wanted to hug him, but I didn't. Instead, I took him by the hand, and led him away from the village.

"I don't have a family, but I do know how it feels to lose someone important, the village chief was like my father. I don't have magic, but maybe you do. Can you help build a tree-house?" I asked Tonyc. Tonyc nodded slowly. His tears started to dry up. He pointed his wand towards the tree in front of us. A long spark flew from his wand and trees started turning into wooden planks and flew towards the tree Tonyc was pointing at. One by one, the planks started to stack itself onto each other plank. Tonyc was sweating very hard. The tree-house was looking great so far. He stopped pointing his wand after the tree-house was done.

"I think you should rest," I said to Tonyc. He conjured a bed in our tree-house. He went to sleep a few minutes later. A sparkling blue spirit appeared in front of me. Amber, don't give up, one day you will get your magic, it told me. I smiled at it. "I know I will," I said.

A portal opened up at Tonyc and I's portal-gate. "Tonyc?" I jumped up. A girl fell through the portal along with Tonyc. I felt a burning feeling in my heart. "Oh, hey, Amber." Tonyc smiled at me. "Um, who's this, Tonyc?" I asked, pointing at the girl with dark blue eyes and blonde hair that was dyed black at the back. "Tony..-c?" the girl muttered at Tonyc. "Oh, yeah, my real name is Tonyc." Tonyc told the girl, smiling. "Oh," she said, frowning at me. I felt anger flashing through me. "Tonyc, why is she here; can you stop ignoring me?" I demanded. Tonyc turned to me. "Oh, yeah, this is Ashling; she's the one I'm supposed to bring here." Tonyc said, smiling at me. "Who is she?" Ashling asked Tonyc. Tonyc turned to her and smiled. "This is my friend, Amber. She's magic-less but she can make good wands, so uh, you can ask her if you want a wand to practice your magic," Tonyc said, smiling at me.

"Wait--- my magic; my magic?!" Ashling cried out. She looked at me, her dark blue eyes piercing through me. "Please tell me I don't have magic," she said. "No, you do have magic, I can sense it. Even Earth dwellers are capable of magic, they just don't have belief." I said, glaring at her. Tonyc looked at me and shot me a warning look. What? I thought.

Ashling was too enthusiastic. She was too jumpy. She was jumping all over my workshop. "Calm down, dude. You're going to destroy my workshop if you keep on jumping around like that." I said, in a tone that was a bit too harsh. I looked at her and thought of what might suit her best. She can't have a natural wand; she wasn't born in Elysia. Natural wands are given to you if you are naturally born in Elysia. If you are not born in Elysia, you would have to have a shaped wand. And shaped wands are weaker, but it'll do.

I decided to make a Shaped Oak Wand for Ashling. "So, uh, Ash? What do you regularly do? Eat? Sleep?" I asked, while shaping the wand. "Oh? I, uh, I usually go to school..?" she said. I didn't understand by what she meant. "School? What is that?" I asked, and she looked a bit dumbfounded. "Dude, are you playing a joke on me..?" Ashling asked. I made a face and she looked horrified. "Oh," she said. She paced around my workshop and turned to me. "Well, uh, school is where you learn stuff." she started. "It's where you find friends"-- she paused --"and jerks." I nodded and she continued. "It's where you learn things such as maths, science, language..." she said. "I'm assuming Elysia doesn't have schools?" I looked at her and frowned. "Not that I know of," I said.

I finished shaping her wand. I gave her the wand. She took it immediately and started examining it. "Careful! It has just been shaped, it might not be that stable!" I cried out. She ignored me and pointed the wand at the target practice. Something was about to come out of the wand, but before that I held out my hand, I didn't know what made me do it, but huge shadowy hands shot from my hand and held hers. "W-wait-- what?" I muttered. I pulled my hands away. "Oh-- oh," Ashling said. I looked at my hands. "I- I've got magic..?" I smiled at myself. Tonyc came through the door and I hugged him. "Tonyc-- it's happened! I've got magic!" I said, squeezing him tightly.

He patted me on the back. "That's great, but we have to get it in control," he said, pointing at my hand. "Oh, yeah," I said, a bit embarrassed.

Magebound :: INTERMISSION ONE :: Car Crash
It was a rainy night, we were driving as fast as we could, we had to get back to Ashling. We had to. There was something important we had to tell her. Zachary smiled at me, driving as fast as he could. The Elysians are coming to get us, coming to get our family to save the other worlds, to save the other worlds' dwellers. To be frank, we were not from Earth. We were from another world called Divinia. Just like Elysia, we had magic. But ours are the storngest kind of magic there was between every world. Ashling was the strongest of us all. Ashling had both of our strengths, but she also had our weaknesses. We had to tell her this. She wouldn't believe it, but, it was worth the try.

There is an Elysian boy coming to get Ashling, we had to tell her. But I also saw something else. Ashling will be the last of us; the last of the Divinians. Zachary and I will not go any further; our souls will be put to rest. The few magical things we could do are predicting the future, and also moving things with our minds. I know that we might not make it tonight, Ashling won't be with us anymore. Ashling will be with my adopted sister; a human who knows not to interfere with Divinians and Elysians' business.

We were almost there. I looked at Zachary with sad eyes. We knew we were not going to make it. Nor will our parents. Their souls are going to be put to rest; right after ours. He drove so fast, I couldn't make out the tiny animals passing by our car.

And right when we were almost near our house, a deer stopped walking right in the middle of the road. Zachary quickly veered to the right and our car went tumbling down the hill. Our car crashed into the pond; and we knew this was it. I struggled on my seatbelt. It didn't budge. I punched the windows of our car. I screamed. Zachary was out cold. His heart was still beating, I knew it. I struggled for a few more minutes, but it was too late. Water rushed in through the cracks in the windows.

I prayed that Ashling will be safe. I prayed that our worlds won't snap in two; and we wouldn't be the end of it all.

And then it came; death rained upon us both.

Magebound :: CHAPTER FOUR :: The Kid :: ASHLING POV
Amber's magic is great; but I still don't know what I can do. Tonyc led us through the tree-house. He looked at Amber and whispered something. Amber looked flustered. Amber's hands still had those shadowy look to it. Tonyc opened a door; and what looked like a training room greeted us with it's warm light. "You guys will be learning how to control your magic here," Tonyc said, staring at Amber and me. His wand appeared in his hand after he held out his hand forward. Amber's eyes sparkled with amazement. It felt as if Amber was first experiencing magic. But; I also felt something else. Amber was scared. I didn't know why.

"You're scared," I said, and Amber turned to me. "What?" she muttered. "You're scared; I want to know why," I said, turning to her. She looked at me with her amber eyes. "No; I'm not scared, what are you talking about?" She looked at me; a bit frightened. "Oh; you're not? Then why can I feel it; Why can I smell it?" I said, looking at her with curious eyes. She looked at me; scared to death. Tonyc suddenly stood in front of me. "Wait-- you-- you can feel others' emotions? That's.." Tonyc trailed off. "Weird? Unbelievable? Scary?" I said, looking at him in anger. "I know what you want to say,"

Tonyc looked at me and continued. "Impossible," he said. "That was the word I was looking for, Ash." I looked at Amber. "Is it true? It's impossible to have this sort of magic?" I asked. "Not for Divinians, you see. They have the magic of the Seer, future predictions... seeing the actual future.." she said, looking at me in curiousity. "... and they have the ability to smell fear; or any other emotion... like wolves. Divinians are the storngest amongst the other world dwellers." I looked at my hands. "What if I'm a Divinian? What if I wasn't human after all?" I asked Tonyc and Amber. They both shook their heads; clueless. I sighed.

"I have a feeling that you are a Divinian, though. You've got a different aura from humans and Elysians." Tonyc said, looking at Amber. "Wait-- I thought the pulsating warm and fuzzy feeling I got around her was a human's aura?" Amber cried out, confused. Tonyc looked at her and smiled. "A human's aura has a dark feeling to it, and I'm guessing Divinian aura is a better version of it." he said.

"So; I guess it's true? I'm a Divinian?" I asked Tonyc. Tonyc still had his clueless face on him. "I'm not sure, I'll have to bring you to the Elders in the Great City." he said. Amber looked at him with shock. "Wh-what? You're gonna go there? With her-- leaving me alone in this tree-house?!" she cried out. "No, Amber; I'm bringing you with me." Tonyc said, leading us through a door.

A sudden scream. "AHHH!!!!!"

We jerked our heads in surprise. I quickly ran down the steps of the tree-house. A kid was sitting under a trunk of a tree, no; they were stuck under the tree. Tonyc quickly jumped down from the last step of the staircase and used his wand to free the child. The child was wearing a mask and had peculiar horns. "Help me!" Tonyc cried out. I quickly took out my wand and pointed it at the tree trunk. Amber tried lifting the tree trunk with her shadow-hands. "Go! Get out now!" Tonyc cried out to the kid.

The kid ran away from the tree and looked at Tonyc, Amber and me. "Where's the Candy?" the kid cried out. "Um, Tonyc? Is there a possibility that human children might fall into your world?" I asked. "Uh, sure; I guess?" he said. "Um, kid, are you trick or treating?" I asked. "Trick or treating? What's that? Is it a game?" they asked. "Um, kid, are you from the human world?" Amber asked, poking his horns. "Hey!! That's--" they hissed at Amber. "Kid, are you human?" Tonyc asked. "Haha, you guys are funny. Since when was I human?" they chuckled. They looked at me. "Now, you're not human. How do you know of the human world?" They asked me. I looked at the kid. "I live there; now I don't. The human world stinks." I said. The kid made a sound; it sounded like a whimper and a growl. "I'm not human; I'm a demon. A candy demon; and now where's the candy!!?" they demanded.

I remembered I had candy in my pockets.

I gave all the candy to the kid. "What's your name? And.. what should we call you?" I asked. The kid stuffed the candy in his pockets. "My name is Alex! You can call me Al or Allie!! I'm neither girl nor boy; so you should call me Kidd." they said. Tonyc and Amber looked at each other in surprise. Alex started hugging me. "I like your aura." they said, squeezing me. "Uh, okay..?" I said, confused. "Shouldn't you be going home to daddy?" Amber said.

"N-noo!!" they cried out; they hid behind me. "D-daddy's a bad person! He's me-mean! He t-tortures me! He'll eat my candy guts!!" I patted them on the back. "It's okay, Alex. We're not gonna turn you in to your Daddy. Your Candy Demon Dad probably is a demon more than you are," I said, hugging him tightly. "You're nice! I'm gonna call you Sister!" they said, hugging me. Now I have a demon kid following me around. How dandy.

Alex was still walking behind me.

Tonyc was asleep.

Amber was practicing.

I was pacing around in my room, I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to sleep. It was too early. "Alex, do you know what I could do?" I asked. Alex stopped walking and looked at me. "I don't know," they said. "Walking around is fun!" I looked at them and sighed. "Do you know what I am?" I said, sitting on my bed. "You're a Divinian; the last one alive." they said, looking at me. They tore off a candy wrapper from the candy I gave them. "So it's true?" I asked. "Yes; your aura is warm and fuzzy! Like my dead sister's aura! She was a Divinian.. and I found this place by sensing your aura!" they said, stuffing the candy in their mouth.

"Dead sister? What happened to her?" I asked, curious. They looked at me. "Daddy killed her," they said silently. "He killed mommy too. He killed everyone. He killed... me." I hugged Alex as tightly as I could. "He killed me on the inside. He destroyed my feelings. He destroyed who I was." Alex took of their mask and I saw tears. Alex was looking at the floor. "He made me feel like a monster," they said, tears dropping on the ground. "I... I'm sorry I asked." I said. Alex looked up and I saw a tiny face (not literally). Alex was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Their eyes were light blue, their nose was small and cute. "It's okay Sister! At least I have you..." they said, putting the mask back on their face. "I don't mind you asking deep questions.."

Magebound :: CHAPTER FIVE :: Dream :: ASHLING POV
I was in a cave.

Painted on the walls, different kinds of animals and symbols. There were paintings of people too. It looked odd. I turned around and saw a torch hanging on the wall of the cave. I took it and started pacing around in the cave, examining the paintings even further.

"Ash," a familiar voice called. I turned around, looking for the source of the voice.

"Ashling," the voice called again, it sounded as if they were in distress. I spun 'round and 'round. I couldn't see well. The light from the torch in my hand wasn't enough.

"Save them," the voice whispered. They sounded sad and frightened. I couldn't do anything. "I will," I mumble under my breath. The dampness of the cave reminded me of something. Something my mind had long forgotten.

Suddenly water was dripping from the roof of the cave. It started to drip slowly, and it started to drip faster. Drops of water snuffed out my torch. I started to panic. There were countless voices whispering to me to help them. Begging me to save them before it was too late. "I'm really trying!" I suddenly blurted out. It was as if someone pulled those words out of my mouth. I didn't even feel like replying.

The water was already up to my waist. "Help me!" I cried out, panicking. "Help!!" There was no reply. The voices whispering suddenly died down. A voice shouted in my ear. "You're too late," it said. I could feel someone shaking their head in disgust. Tears started rolling down my cheeks and I knew it was already too late. The water level kept on rising quickly. Soon enough, I was engulfed in the water. I didn't have time to take second breaths. I felt my lungs burst from inhaling too much water.

I woke up, startled. I looked around me and saw Alex sleeping soundly. I yawned. I had to tell Tonyc about my dream. Maybe, just maybe, this had something to do with me.

I walked out of my room and saw Amber making breakfast. "What's for breakfast?" I asked. Amber looked at me and smiled. "Oh, the usual things we eat." she said. "Pheonix egg and pork" My eyes widened at the word 'pheonix'. "What?" she said.

"Pheonixes are real?" I asked in awe. "Uh, sure, I guess." Amber said, she looked as if she heard the same question over and over. "They're not really that dangerous." I nodded.

Tonyc walked into the kitchen. "Oh, hey, Ash." he said. I smiled. I suddenly remembered the dream I had.

"Oh! Uh, yeah.. Tonyc, we have to talk." I said. Tonyc nodded silently. Amber looked at me with curious eyes. "Whatever it is, please spill it." she said. "Uh, okay, sure." I said. It seems like Amber doesn't really trust me yet. So, I did what she told me to do. I described my dream, with the paintings in the cave; the animals and symbols. I told them about the voices telling me things. I told them about the shouting voice. Tonyc nodded his head while Amber stared at me in shock. I told them about my death in the dream.

"It felt so real, I was so frightened." I finished. Tonyc stared at me with eyes filled with understanding. "Ashling," he said, a bit more grim than before. "I think I know what this 'dream' of yours means." He shared a glance with Amber. He turned his head back to me and his words frightened me. "You're the one."

"So after all this time, you were the one I was searching for." Tonyc said, his voice bared no emotion. "It makes so much sense now!" He stared into my dark blue eyes. "You're the Divinian I was looking for." his words shook me right to the core. My legs failed me. I dropped to the ground. "How" was the only word that came out of my mouth.

Amber shook her head in disbelief. "This can't be," she said. Fright filled her sweet-sounding voice. "If-- if she's the Divinian we've been looking for-- then-- then we're all in trouble," she said. I stared at her, not wanting to believe Tonyc's voice. "This can't be happening," I said. Tonyc's green eyes sparkled with hope. "We still have a chance at saving our Worlds." he said. There was a sudden flash of doubt in his eyes. I stared at him; trying to find an answer.

I looked around me. "How am I even a Divinian? This doesn't make any sense.." I whisper.

Magebound :: INTERMISSION TWO :: Daddy
Daddy was a bad person. He killed mommy. He killed big sister. He killed even me. He killed everything I saw. Daddy was mean. Daddy was bad. Daddy was everything awful you could think of. Big Sister was dead because of him.

Mommy was a Divinian; just like Big Sister. Mommy loved Daddy; but Daddy did not. Daddy was the meanest Candy Demon alive. Daddy made sure Mommy and Big Sister was put in a cage. He left me outside because I was different. I was a Candy Demon; just like Daddy. I didn't choose to be a Candy Demon. I wanted to be put in the same cage as Mommy and Big Sister. Daddy refused. I cried like any human child would. Daddy was sick and tired of my behaviour. He left me in a locked room; with no food. As the days went by; my crying grew louder and louder. Daddy finally came into the room. He gave me food and water. He let me outside. He let me have anything I wanted. Until that day ended.

He placed me in a tinier cage outside of Mommy and Big Sister's. Daddy made sure there was a length of 20 inches in between our cages. Mommy assured me that it will be alright. Her aura pulsating deep within her. She tried holding out her hand to reach me; but Daddy chopped it off. He didn't want anyone to talk to me. Mommy's cries made me want to cry. I felt anger boil within me; but it wasn't enough. I was soft and weak. Just as Daddy said about Mommy. I hated Daddy, but deep within me; I still loved him.

Daddy came into our room one day, he held a key. Mommy looked at him and she knew what was happening. Daddy wanted to kill Big Sister. She cried out. "No! No! No!" she screamed and kicked. Big Sister was breathing heavily. Daddy grabbed Big Sister. He looked at me for once and saw my face. "Where's your Mommy now?" he said, chuckling. I was clueless. I didn't know what was going on.

I heard Big Sister screaming. "Big Sister! Big Sister!!" I cried out. "Big Sister!" I held out my hands out of my cage. I tried grabbing things. I tried doing magic. I couldn't do anything to stop Daddy. When Daddy came back, he held something that looked like a hand. He grabbed Mommy and he looked at me with pitiful eyes. "Oh, dear. When will you ever grow up, Alex?" he said, walking away with Mommy in his hands.

I saw a shadow of Daddy. He was sewing a hand onto Mommy. I heard Mommy cry out in pain. "What have you done to Viv?! You're a monster! I never should have loved you!" she cried out. Then I saw it. A chainsaw. Daddy plunged a chainsaw through Mommy's heart and I sank to the ground. Anger boiled within me. I felt broken. "MOMMY!!" I cried out. I did everything I could to get me out of the cage. Daddy came back and he saw me trying to get out. I hissed at him. "Go away!! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you for killing Mommy! Mommy was everything to me!!" I cried out.

Daddy looked at me with painful eyes. "It's too late, Alex. They're already dead. You can do nothing to get them back," he chuckled. "I hate you..!!" I screamed. I kicked on the bars of the cage. Daddy walked away in disgust. I slumped to the ground. "I hate Daddy.." I mumbled. Something glowed above me. I looked up and saw Mommy. "Shhh.." she said. "I will get you out of here, my dear." I looked up at Mommy and cried silent tears. I nod.

"Big Sister is waiting for you," she said. She grabbed me and I felt like a ghost. She floated through the bars and I did so too. Mommy disappeared around a corner and I followed. Big Sister was at the end of the hallway. She beckoned me to follow. I did.

"Run, Alex, run as fast as you could." she said, and I did. I ran as fast as I could. Grasping onto the mask I took.

MAGEBOUND :: CHAPTER SIX :: Mother :: TONYC POV (WIP)
All was silent, for the Mother sleeps.
A key held inside of her, so she can earn her keep
A silent cry pierces through her mind,
For what she had done had been so blind

Her son was broken beyond repair,
Her son was wailing in despair
"What 'ave I done?" was the question she asks;
But what she had done; had been her task

Oh, but the Mother sleeps all well,
But beneath the skin, the blood swells
"It's all my fault" was the Phrase repeated
And with that Phrase, the Mother; defeated.

I was in a dark room, chained up to a wall. Water poured from the ceiling, quickly pouring into the room. I heard someone crying. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," were the words I heard. The water was up to my waist now. I tried pulling as hard as I can to free myself. I couldn't. The bonds kept on tightening the more I struggled. I squinted my eyes to see through the dark. I couldn't. It was like an endless darkness. I didn't want to lose myself. I didn't want to lose her. I knew it was my Mother; for her aura was very strong. It resonated within me like the feeling of love.

Spoilers for chapter six but like you can read it if u wnt
Ok-- so like
this story has been going on for 4 MONTHS and like--
I feel like this is the most creative and one of the oldest stories I have ever written in my entire life like holy crap-- sorry if that's not allowed to be said here--i've never written anything like this in my whole life--
Basically-- I, myself, do not know exactly what the story is supposed to be about-- it just suddenly popped into my mind and when I re-read the whole thing-- I felt like I didn't write this. I don't really wanna spoil what Chapter Six is about, but it's SO FRIGGIN AMAZING I REALLY NEED TO SAY SOMETHING so--

If you've gotten to CHAPTER FIVE and FINISHED IT already, I really wanna thank you so much for reading my story. I'm just so happy people even read my crap xD

STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANNA BE SPOILED FOR MAGEBOUND :: CHAPTER SIX :: Mother

Okay-- so chapter six is supposed to about what Tonyc's Mother is supposed to be and how she's so important to the story + her strong bond with Tonyc. Basically-- Tonyc's Mother is like a goddess in Magebound's plot.
And Tonyc is basically a demigod kid

Tonyc doesn't know that cause his Mother never told him about Gods and Goddesses
Basically Tonyc's Mother was the reason the whole Dimensional Universe is collapsing--
Because she forgot what was more important than her life-- the lives of the trillions of people she's about to kill accidentally just because of her mistake
Tonyc's bond towards his Mother is strong simply because he has telepathic powers. And simply because his love for his Mother is strong.

I mentioned in the poem at the starting of CHAPTER SIX that 'the Mother' sleeps.
And yes, basically Tonyc's Mother is sleeping somewhere in the Core of Elysia. She is simply sleeping because she is afraid of the consequences of what she has chosen to do. Yes-- she is simply running away from her problems.

The elders of Elysia are maintaining her in the Core of Elysia simply because she cannot contain her despair and guilt for what she had done. The elders did not inform the people of Elysia simply because they cannot leave their positions.

Ah-- and that's for another chapter, my darling.

Fun fact! Tonyc calls his mom Mama! ;)
