I do these storys each night just for the fun of it. I chose stories that I had loved and hope you like them as well! :)
Long ago there were two brothers, Epimetheus and Prometheus. They were gods, gods by fate friends by choice, and they had good hearts.
One day Prometheus got in some trouble with Zues, god of the skies. Zeus had declared that man shall not, will not, and doesn't deserve fire. Since Prometheus had a kind heart, knowing that man needed fire for food and warmth, Prometheus gave man fire in secret, even after Zues told the gods not to. Zues was furious that Prometheus ignored his orders, as punishment he chained Prometheus to a rock for many years.
But for Zues, that wasn't enough punishment. Once Prometheus was chained to a rock , Zues had went after Epimetheus, Prometheus's brother.Epimetheus was a gentle and kind hearted man. Instead of chaining to him to a rock, Zues had a much more sneaky punishment in mind.
Zues had ordered Hephaestus, god of fire and maker of things, to make Zues a daughter. Hephaestus make a beutiful women out of clay. Zues brought his new lovely daughter to life, Pandora.
Epimetheus was lonely, and Zues knew it. Zues had told Epimetheus that Prometheus was chained to a rock and why. Since Zues felt sorry that the punishment left Epimetheus without the company of his brother. So Zues decided to give the marriage of Pandora to Epimetheus.
Even though Epimetheus was kind hearted, and gentle, he was not a fool. He had known Zeus was up to something . Still he loved Pandora.
Zues gave the newlyweds a gift, a box, a locked box, a locked box with a note saying "DO NOT OPEN", and by that note was a key.
Letting curiousity overwhelm Pandora, she used the key and opened the box. Slowly she raised the lid, out flew evil. Lots of evil. Sickness, hate, disease, death, envy ect. Quickly Pandora slammed the lid shut, but it was all to late.
Epimetheus heard Pandora crying. He came running as fast as he could. Pandora opened the lid to show it was empty, but before he could slam the lid shut, out came a tiny bug, Hope. And so no matter how many evils there are in the world, there is still hope.
