A world full of magic and mystery
Flying carpets and magic mirrors
Teapots and mushrooms
Paintings of knights and castles and starry nights
Dresses and suits and swords and shields and blossoms of flowers blown from an unseen tree
Footsteps down the road less traveled and a road traveled every day
A path in the woods lined with wildflowers and weeds
A garden, hidden inside a doorless wall, overgrown with ivy and sorrow
A castle atop a mountain, abandoned save for the memories
A forest of secrets, a city of mazes
A field of gold and sapphires shimmers in the sunlight
Dewdrops on blades of grass
Waterfalls cascading over jagged rocks
Ink on paper, word upon word woven together

-♣- so basically this is a love poem about books, I wrote this for school a lil while ago, and I tried to use a couple specific references from actual books, such as Alice in Wonderland and The Secret Garden. I know I definitely won't get a high placement but honestly im proud of this poem anyways so idrc -♣-
