Studies on Piglins/Ancient Builder Interactions

  //BEGIN LOG//

  Long ago, when the builders still stood, many brave souls traveled to the Nether. Unfortunately, they soon lost their souls to the dangers that existed there. The Overworld sure had its problems, but the Nether was something else.
  One such journey held much promise. A cluster of strange structures had been spotted by the fortress construction team, and the lead builder sent his best scouts to check it out. What they found changed everything.
  At first, the cluster seemed empty. After searching the buildings, the scouts were about to dismiss the builds as another prank. As they were getting ready to leave, though, they were attacked.
But they weren't.
  Dozens of humanoid pig-like creatures swarmed the scouts, trampling each other to get there. They stopped just short of the first scout's golden blade. The pig-things stared at the blade with a wonder the scouts had never seen before. All of them seemed as though they were in a trance. With little resistance from the creatures, the scouts took a few of them back to the fortress to show the lead builder.
  Some time later, the builders discovered that the "Piglins," as they took to calling them, were a monarchy. And they wanted their land back. The lead builder met with the Piglin king to discuss the disputes, and they decided on a solution. The builders would trade half of their currently mined gold to the kingdom, and they could keep their currently built upon land. This deal lasted less than a week. The Piglins wanted more gold, and the builders wanted more land. The deal was altered several times before they created the final arrangement.
  After three long years of peace, there was an accident in the Gateway, the builders' main portal facility. Several different accounts of the accident tell slightly different stories, but the point is very clear. A builder infected with the zombie virus traveled through a portal in the Gateway, infecting some observing Piglins. Since the Piglins had no immunity to the virus, it spread swiftly throughout their kingdom. The infected Piglins did not attack like the infected builders, though. They simply wandered, spreading the infection through anything they touched.
  The Piglin king requested the lead builder's help, but, understanding the battle against the infection in the Nether could not be won, the builder withdrew his men from the Gateway, leaving the Piglins to fend for themselves.

    //BEGIN TACTICAL ANALYTICS//

The Piglins remember what the builders did to them, and though the ancient builders are gone, they will attack you on sight.
##C.O.A.
Wear golden armor when interacting with Piglins. Gold induces a trance-like state, making them docile, allowing for bartering.
##W.Y.E.
Many of the Piglins you may encounter are outcasts. Their laws are very strict, and breaking any will result in banishment.
No human is allowed in the main kingdom, so you will not encounter any "Royal" Piglins.
