SURVIVAL GUIDE 101
Surviving your first night.
Hello there fellow minecraftians!
I present; the Survival Guide 101, an upcoming series of Guides to do almost anything in (vanilla) minecraft survival!
From surviving your first night to killing the enderdragon and much, much more!
Surviving your first night:
As you respawn you should first get wood (obtained when breaking tree logs and crafting it into planks)
Then you should make a crafting table, you do so by using the inventory crafting bench and placing the planks like this:
Plank Plank
Plank Plank
Then you get some more wood (if you used all of it before) and you make sticks:
Plank
Plank
After this you should find yourself a cave, if you found one you should place the crafting table and craft yourself a wooden pickaxe:
Plank Plank Plank
Stick
Stick
Then you start on mining some stone, after this, the sun should almost be going down (unless youo re super fast or youo ve enabled a help chest at the world creation menu thingy, or you dono t need this guide but you just think this guide is epic and stumbled across this guide while searching for a guide about how to eat potatoes? Anyway..) If you found some coal while mining, you should craft a torch:
Coal
Stick
Then you should gather some dirt (or around 30 planks or any other block) and make yourself a small shack to stay safe for the night.
This should be done by first digging 2 blocks deep in a square form of 3 x 3 and then placing the wood on top (possibly make it higher by making small walls) then make an entrance to the surface by making a 1 x 1 path, do so 3 blocks far, and then place a block as o staircaseo leading up, you should then craft a door with 8 planks:
Plank Plank
Plank Plank
Plank Plank
Place the door in the entrance and optionally (if you found coal and made torches) place some torches inside (and possibly around) your house so monsters wono t spawn inside (or around) it.
I hope this Guide helped you on surviving, and be sure to leave a diamond and favourite!
Subscribe if you want more!
Note: leaving on vacation for a month, will try to post updates, though probably wono t be able to.
