Steve was fixing his inventory up, until he heard an unfamiliar sound across from the ravine he was mining in.

"Psst!"

Steve closes his inventory, looking around for a monster to kill.

"A new mob? No, there was no update..."

Steve shrugs, leaving it as just his imagination. 
He goes to his Crafting Table, using materials to create a chest.
He stores the ores he had gotten earlier.
'
*giggle*

"A-am I dreaming?"

Steve mines into a wall and blocks himself in with some Cobblestone.

"If I'm not, I won't let them get me!"

Meanwhile, Alex, the other player, builds a simple bridge across the ravine.
She looks into the hot, burning furnace to see what the miner had gotten.

"Wow, lots of loot."
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot..."

Alex goes up to the wall. She starts mining the Cobblestone from earlier. As it broke, Alex surprised him with a scream.
Alex was wearing a carved pumpkin on her head.

"RAAAWR!" Alex shouts.
"AAAAGH!" Steve screams.

"Hi! Can I come mining with you? Or are you too frightened?"
"U-um, I was just about to leave..."
"Oh, okay. Can I come with you?"
"S-sure..."

"By the way, what are you going to do with all that ore?"
"Oh, I'm going to make an Iron Golem to protect my house."
"Cool, can I come?"
"Sure, it's in a village, near here, I think..."

After endless hours of exploring, getting lost, and scavenging food, they find the soil, the grass, the trees.
Out of breath, the two take deep breaths, embracing the fresh air from the trees.
They set off, looking for a nearby village for directions.
