Hello PMC this is part 2 of my adventures of steve series. If you want part 1 there will be a link at the bottom of this blog post.
Steve went over to his workbench and got out some wooden planks. He put the planks in what he thought would be the shape of a door. And he got a door back!
o I am getting good at this!o he said with a grin.
He went over to the opening in his house and placed the door down in the doorway. As he walked back to the middle of the house we heard that moan again, but this time it was closer. He looked through the window holes in his door and saw a zombie. Steve started backing away towards the back wall. He didno t have anything to protect him but he had some planks left.
I need something to defend with. A stick or sword or something of that sort.
Steve crept over silently to the workbench and started using his planks to make something. He separated the planks into two piles. He had crafted sticks. Now he needed something more to defend himself. He put the sticks back onto the bench and put some wood on too.
Well the sword will need the planks and then the stick can be the hilt.
He put two planks on top and one stick on the bottom. Yes, now he had made a wooden sword. Steve crept back over to see if the zombie was still there.
o Well thato s weird he was just there?o
He opened the door cautiously and peeked out he heard the moan coming from his right. The zombie was back and was lurching slowly at him. Steve equipped his sword and started hitting him over and over. He hit him one more time and the zombie fell over and vaporized into nothing. On the ground was a feather and some rotten flesh.
o Thato s nasty some nasty rotten flesho he said while picking it up to get rid of it.
Steve picked up the flesh and went over to the side of his house and threw it as far as he could. He rushed back in side really fast so he could avoid more zombies and what ever else was out there. Steve went back inside and sat on the cold ground. From when he was out side he noticed that the sun was directly over him.
I need some sleep but I have no bed. I guess I will try to stay up.
Steve tried and tried to stay up but soon fell fast asleep. The next morning Steve woke up to oinks and clucks. His stomach growled loudly, he had not eaten last night. Steve got out his sword and walked outside. There were a couple of pigs and chickens.
I am going to have a feast today!
He crept up behind the chicken and hit it with his sword. It quickly started running away. He sprinted to catch up and hit it one more time. He killed the chicken, and it dropped some meat.
Steve walked back to his house and saw the pig. He ran and jumped and hit as hard as he could. The pig squealed loudly. But he finished it off with another blow.Now had had a pork chop.
o I cano t eat raw meat that would be nasty. I need to cook it, but where can I make fire. I need a furnace. But that requires stoneo .
Steve walked over to the workbench and got out some sticks and planks. If he was going to get stone he needed a pick axe. He put 3 wooden planks in a row and 2 sticks going down.
Alright now lets get some stone.
Steve went outside and looked around for a hill of some sort. About 200 blocks away was this mound of earth with stone clearly visible. He equipped his pick and started walking. When he got to the mound he saw a cow near by and a small river. Steve began hitting the dirt around some of the stone and began mining the stone.
This is quite easy. Maybe be if I collect enough stone I can make better tools.
