                                                        Chapter 1 - Brine

On June 1st, 1979 (in our world’s measurement of time), Brine Ape Gobbs was born. Even at a young age, he parents knew Brine was destined for greatness. He was a talented swordsman and  born leader. At the age of 14 he could already beat some of the knights in a sparring match, at 15 he was made a knight, and at 17 he was third in command of his country’s army. Though troubling times lay ahead for young Brine…

The wars for this new thing called “iron” were rising up, as all the nations knew that stone swords were simply outclassed by the superior iron swords. This new iron could also make armor more than twice as strong as leather, and it was also shiny. Brine’s  unit was called out to defend against the iron-clad invaders, who knew that they could easily defeat the enemy’s stone swords and leather armor. Brine and a few officers were given iron armor and swords, though most didn’t have them. The enemy charged in, underestimating Brine and his unit, though Brine had trained them well. They fought for a total of 13 hours before retreating to the castle. They managed to kill about half of the iron-clad invaders, though in exchange Brine lost many of his own good men. The unit of Steve, Brine’s friend, was in charge of creating castle defenses while Brine held them off. They quickly lowered the door and Brine’s unit got in, along with about 40 enemy soldiers. Luckily, though, most of the invaders were left outside. Steve’s unit took advantage of the slowness the iron armor gave them, and managed to get most of them either by lava or by bow. At the end of the day, Brine was exhausted and fell asleep right away. He wouldn’t sleep for long though. He was soon waken up by a messenger, and the news he brought was horrific. The king has been killed.

The kingdom was in panic and many questions were left unanswered. “Who will be king now?” “How did the killer get in?” “Who is the killer?” “Was the killer one of the ‘iron-clad’?” “Who and what are the these ‘iron-clad’ people anyway?” What happened was actually the invasion was a distraction to get spies into the castle.  They then met up, exchanged information, and sent an assassin in while they were distracted with the 40 got into the castle. Using information from the spies, the assassin was able to find the best route to the where the king slept and then kill him. (they didn’t know this, though.)

The council met and decided that the new king should be Kire Seorb. (yes, a weird name indeed) Kire Seorb was one of the king’s most trusted advisors, though Brine didn’t trust him at all. Seorb seemed to always be doing suspicious things around the castle… Maybe it was just him, though. Maybe he was going crazy.

                                                                 Chapter 1 - End

                                                                Chapter 2 - Mine

After a week the kingdom was getting back to it’s usual state, and even Brine seemed calmer now. His parents were friends with the king, so he knew the king since he was little. He was a great man, and everyone liked him. Apparently not, actually, because he was assassinated. After this attack, the king had the miners get iron. The king had Brine and his unit guard the mine, for he feared an attack from the iron-clad.

As anticipated, the iron-clad invaded the mine and sent off 3 volleys of arrows, killing a fourth of those who couldn’t prepare their shields in time. The attack was done from many various angles, so it was hard to block them all. Immediately the miners went for cover and Brine had a couple of the people throw torches at where the arrows came from. It confirmed where the enemies were, yes, though they used to their advantage, sending a volley of flaming arrows towards  and then putting out the fire soon after. Brine had the miners grab water for them, so the flames weren’t too bad. Brine called for those who were stationed at top (hiding) to attack while the enemy archers put out the flames. They pushed a fourth of the archers off and into the mine. Brine and his unit ran up them mine up to the top. While running they shot arrows at the enemy archers and held their shields to their side. Some got shot, but most were fine because of the staircase’s design. The right sides were protected by a wall, so they just covered their left side and were fine as they ran up the staircase. Or so they thought. Iron-clad bombers went out from their hiding places in the walls and blew up parts of the staircase. Now half were up fighting, and half trapped. They quickly started building, though the bombers kept blowing things back up. They were protected with a thick wall of stone brick, only with a one-slab tall hole for the explosives to go out. The wall that protected them from the arrows had actually hindered them even more! A few were able to jump to the other side of the broken stairwell when the builders made the gap 4 blocks wide, though not many since the bombers would explode the gap before they could jump most of the time. Meanwhile the miners started to get out of hiding, and the builders created a cobble wall to protect them from the arrows. The miners started mining cobble for the builders, as well as iron. A blacksmith down there was able to create a couple sets of armor as the battle raged on, which they transported to some of the soldiers in battle. Brine and his men got to the top, where he saw the iron-clad archers and soldiers. He also saw a mysterious cloaked figure. He was summoning green creatures that moaned and looked a little bit like them. They started attacking Brine and his unit along with the iron-clad. He then saw the dead men of his unit revived as skeletons, who started shooting arrows at him! He had never seen these monsters, never heard about them in any legend, story, or myth. All he knew was that the kingdom would soon be destroyed if no one stopped them.

                                                               Chapter 2 - End

                                                          Chapter 3 – Cloaked

Deciding that he would be the one to stop them, Brine charged at the cloaked figure while sticking out 2 swords, beheading many of the green creatures along the way. He got to the cloaked figure, and using his momentum, quickly slashed at him 4 times using his 2 swords. The cloaked figure, however, teleported behind him and quickly sent a blast at Brine, sending him 20 blocks into the air. Brine, weakened from the blast and fall damage, quickly devoured a golden apple and then once again charged at the cloaked figure. He rapidly slashed at the cloaked figure with his swords, this time it was 6 times, though the figure again teleported behind Brine. “That trick won’t work twice!” Brine yelled as he threw a sword behind him. The cloaked figure predicted that, however, and had teleported slightly to the left of his previous teleportation, dodging the sword. “You fo-“ the cloaked figure started to say, but was interrupted as the sword currently in the air behind him exploded. “Thank your bombers for the gunpowder,” Brine said as he went to attack a wave of green creatures that had surrounded him. “Good thing we had the torches we threw near here,” Brine muttered. Brine was starting to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of creatures that had started to attack him. Luckily, his men caught up with him and helped him fend them off. Brine bent down to finish off the cloaked figure, but he teleported away, and was getting ready to finish off his unit with an energy blast! “Shoot him!” yelled Brine. A volley of arrows was fired at the cloaked figure, though he teleported away to dodge it and then charged up his attack even more. They tried to shoot him, though the figure just teleported away. Brine had another volley of arrows fired, though this time he had prepared a group to snipe him from behind right after he teleported.  The figure appeared, and fired the blast, killing some and weakening many. The group had their bows ready and while the cloaked figure fired the blast, he was shot by their arrows. Luckily the blast wasn’t at full power because he had wasted some of it from teleporting, and they had anticipated the blast, so only those who had weak and heavily damaged shields or couldn’t switch back from bow to shield in time were killed. The figure used the last of his energy to teleport away, though Brine had sniped him with a flaming arrow after he had teleported, because he knew he had no more energy to teleport again to dodge it. The cloaked figure was finally killed… though the fight had just begun. Two more cloaked figures appeared, and summoned more skeletons and green creatures.

Brine gave out some golden apples, had a group call go call for backup from his friend Steve, and charged with his men at the horde wandering towards them. After that, Brine had archers spread into groups that fired volleys of arrows a second after each other so that the cloaked figures would have to be constantly teleporting. This time, instead of wasting energy in an already anticipated blast, the figures summoned a wall of skeletons and zombies to block the arrows and then attack Brine and his unit. Brine and his unit, which now had half of its main force and a fourth of its core gone, was only surviving because of their golden apples, which effects were slowly going away. (the core consisted of some of Brine’s best men) Even with the golden apples some had already died. Brine sighed, and wondered how many crying mothers and wives he would have to go through this time. (Brine felt the responsibility was his to let the family members know when one of his soldiers had died) As more men died, more became skeletons and green creatures. The more they fought, the more they had to fight against. Sometimes it seemed the horde was shrinking, and other times it seemed like it was growing.

                                                               Chapter 3 – End

                                                                     Chapter 4 – Plan

Brine wasn’t worried though. He had already hatched up a plan to beat these guys. Brine had his unit break through part of the zombie wall that had surrounded them. They then charged towards a platform and ladders that the builders had prepared for them, but were intercepted by some iron-clad soldiers and met with a huge volley of arrows from the iron-clad and skeletons. Already low from the battle with the horde, many of Brine’s unit fell. They then became zombies that further kept them from the platform. An arrow hit Brine’s right leg, though Brine endured the pain and started using his left foot as an axis as he swung his sword. “Be fearless, don’t lose hope!” Brine yelled. Brine’s plan was working, despite losing way more men than he would like to. The iron-clad and the horde from earlier were now starting to surround Brine and his now small unit. (at least when compared to earlier) They were now trapped, and they couldn’t do much about it. But someone else could. The previously trapped soldiers in the mine sent launched TNT at the horde (horde now includes the iron-clad too, not just the skeletons and stuff), blowing them away and giving Brine a chance to sprint over to the platform along with his unit. They went up the ladders while the group from the mine kept most of the horde from getting to Brine. They broke the ladders and were safe, kind of.

What happened was Brine had an arrow sent down to the mine with his plan. Part of the plan was that the miners would mine through the stone brick wall and slowly tunnel towards the bombers. A couple of soldiers would then kill the bomber and raid his TNT stash. After that, the builders were to build a huge platform with ladders for Brine and the rest of the unit to get on. They did this while Brine distracted them by charging at the cloaked figure way in the back, which moved the battle away from the mine.

Now the horde was building up towards the platform, so the builders also built up and blew up the bottom layer. They already had a couple layers ready, since obviously the horde would pillar up to get them. Even though they had a multiple layer lead, the horde was catching up. They built the pillars out of obsidian, and had side walls so they couldn’t be blasted off. Though, of course, that did also mean they would be trapped as they built. Brine had a group blow up previous layers and another for blowing up the horde pillaring up. The iron-clad used the green creatures as shields for the explosions, so they were protected, though that also meant that they would have less green creatures to deal with if they caught up, which was good. Brine was surprised, the green creatures were so focused on killing him and his unit that they didn’t even notice getting picked up and being used as a shield.  After 2 hours of this, there was a random floating platform in the sky and a bunch of random pillars in the sky. How the platform was floating, Minecraft logic. Heehee. The horde was now caught up with Brine, and it was time to play spleef. The skeletons and green creatures were slow, as well as the iron-clad because of their heavy iron armor. Brine knew that they could easily win a spleef match. That is, if the platform was made out of snow or TNT… They tried to spleef them, but failed, so they switched back to normal combat. The sun was rising, and Brine was astonished as the zombies were set on fire. Soon after Brine’s unit was set on fire and losing the battle. Brine smiled. The next part of his plan was ready. “Jump off!” Brine yelled as he got ready to jump. His unit looked at him like he was crazy, but then saw the look on his face. They knew that look all too well. It was the look of a strategist’s plan in action. Knowing Brine had something up his sleeve, they jumped off the platform.

                                                              Chapter 4 –End

                                                             Chapter 5 – Last Resort

They landed with a splash in some water, putting out the flames of those that were on fire. They were met by Steve and his unit. Once everyone was on land, they blocked off the water. Steve had brought supplies to make TNT cannons, which they used to spleef the iron-clad on the platform. Steve asked, “How did they get obsidian?” He asked this because so far none had found a way to mine it. Even iron tools couldn’t mine it. None knew the answer. After the iron-clad died from fall damage, the only ones left were the cloaked figures.

What happened was that Brine had the messengers tell Steve his plan, and a list of things that the plan would need, including the water for a safe landing. Brine had another reason for the builders to build the platform besides for them to have the advantage of height, he also wanted to get the iron-clad to turn into green creatures. Because the cloaked figures would turn the dead iron-clad into part of the horde after they died, it was like fighting the same person twice, so Brine made the fight fair by having them turn into green creatures after they died from getting spleef’d.

They used the iron-clad to make another horde of green creatures and skeletons, now in iron armor! Because of the helmets for some reason they didn’t burn, and were really hard to kill because or their armor. Steve used the TNT cannons to weaken the horde that was closing in, and handed out some golden apples and steak. The steak was quickly devoured by Brine’s hungry unit. Steve, like at the castle, used lava buckets to burn up the horde. Turns out lava sets the horde on fire even though the horde wore helmets. The cloaked figures summoned the burning zombies in the center of the group, setting almost everyone on fire. After they teleported the horde they seemed exhausted, and the horde seemed to go crazy. A skeleton tried to shoot one of the cloaked figures, but they quickly teleported away, almost out of sight. During the battle they had lost a lot of energy controlling the horde, and now they had no energy to do so after  teleporting them (the horde) into the center and then teleporting away. Earlier it was ok to summon the horde to create a wall because they had enough energy to control the surviving ones after, though now they had no control. Brine saw that the cloaked figures had no control, and let the units know about it. Brine had some men break through the thick wall of green creatures and skeletons that surrounded them,  and then quickly sprinted towards the two cloaked figures, along with a couple from his unit’s core. (like said earlier, the core consisted of some of Brine’s best men, now with a third gone) Once they got closer they realized that the figures were both charging their energy. It was their last resort, and something deadly. Dark particles were rapidly flying towards their hands, and it formed a huge dark blob. It was getting bigger and bigger, and Brine and his core knew that everyone on the battlefield lives’ were in danger. One tried to snipe one of the cloaked figures to stop him from gathering more of these dark particles, though when it hit the dark blob, it instantly was deflected and the arrow went at a speed so fast it seemed invisible, and the man sniped himself before he could react. Brine yelled to his men, “Run faster than you have ever run before! We will not let the deaths of our comrades be in vain!” And they did just that. Brine and his unit took off their armor, and ran faster than they, and maybe any other man, had run before.

                                                          Chapter 5 – End

                                                       Chapter 6 - Sacrifice

They were getting closer towards the dark blob and cloaked figures, feeling a dark, evil force pushing them back. Everything relied on them, the lives of Brine’s unit and now Steve’s unit too. Victory was within grasp. The group yelled to each other, encouraging the others to keep going on. 50 yards away now, the group is getting tired, slowed down by the dark force pushing them, and nauseated. They feel a deep, devilish, horrific, evil surrounding them. The sky grows dark, even though the sun was rising just a minute ago. The group, charging in, seemingly gaining speed somehow, is now 20 yards away. One of the cloaked figures draws out a little dark blob from the original, and fires it directly at Brine. Brine yells for his men to move out of the way, and then fell to the ground, his damaged right leg from earlier taking too much strain from the battle and their charging to the cloaked figures. The dark blob was getting closer, and Brine was done for.

That is, he would have been, but Erbi jumped in and took the hit for Brine. Erbi had been friends with Brine as long as he could remember, encouraging him all the way through his journey of becoming third in command of the army. He had sparred with him, helped him become a better warrior. Brine realized he had taken him for granted and, that he hadn’t thanked him enough. Brine started, “Erbi, I-“ He was interrupted by Erbi, in tears. “Brine, here. Take my golden apple, and stop those guys from killing the others. I’m glad… glad that I had you as a friend. Even though it might seem like you haven’t done much to help me, truth is, you’ve done much more for me then I’ve ever done for you. The courage you display during battle, how you never give up, and the way that you care for people, have changed me into the person I am today, and… I’m thankful. Goodbye… my good fre-. “ And there Erbi died. Brine was thankful the cloaked figures couldn’t summon anymore green creatures. Erbi could rest in peace as a normal person.

Brine ate the golden apple and the last of his stash too and started charging towards the cloaked figures along with the group, his leg healing as he ran. Brine was worried though, as he thought it had been healed earlier by his other golden apples. He yelled to the others, “Don’t let Erbi’s, or anyone else’s deaths be in vain! WE MUST SUCCEED!” Brine charged, fueled by rage, now 10 yards away.  He wiped his eyes, the tears blocking some of his vision. The cloaked figure fired a couple more blasts, though after the group dodged them he went back to expanding the dark blob along with the other cloaked figure. Now 5 feet away, the cloaked figures fire the dark blob. The group didn’t care for their lives, only for the lives of others. They would be a shield to stop the blob from hurting anyone else. They and the cloaked figures would be history.

                                                                Chapter 6 – End

                                                           Chapter 7 – Back Home

Suddenly the blob… bounced back towards the cloaked figures and killed them! Brine and the others were left untouched. Explanation time!

The cloaked figures’ last resort was turning their bodies into magnets for dark energy. Normally, one is completely engulfed in the dark energy and loses control. The cloaked figures, however, had become accustomed to this energy, and could control it to some extent. The reason why they could make it to the cloaked figures without being pushed back too much by the dark force unlike how one of the group shot an arrow, and on impact, the arrow shot back so fast it was almost appeared invisible, is because unlike the group, the arrow wasn’t good or bad. It didn’t resist the dark energy repelling it back to the archer. The blob normally would just mow through the group and then continue on it’s towards the others, despite their being good in spirit. But since they were willing to risk their lives, because of the sacrifice Erbi made, the archer whose own arrow got himself killed, and many more sacrifices like these during the battle, those things, which were pure, repelled the dark force back to the cloaked figures, whose bodies could no longer withstand the evil that they drew from the place.

The group was confused at what happened, but were very grateful that they were alive. They went over to where the others were, and finished the last of the horde. The battle was finally over! Brine gathered the miners and units together and they went back to the castle. That night Brine had the best sleep he ever had as he watched the stars in the sky.

Three days later on his way to inform another crying wife about her husband’s death, a messenger ran to give him a message to return to the castle. There Brine received the title Hero, for killing the three of the cloaked figures. (The title of Hero is similar to England’s title Sir, but it is much more rare to receive it) After the ceremony Brine was invited to come to a council meeting, where the news was revealed: The research about creating a golden apple with golden blocks was stolen.

                                                                Chapter 7 - End

                                                            Chapter 8 – Battle

“Hero Brine, I have seen an underground fortress. I saw a couple iron-clad near it, though for fear of being spotted, I went no further. I did hear the faint sound of pickaxes, though. I assume that this is a place to mine and stockpile iron,” said a scout from Brine’s unit. “Thank you, Jamalam, (lol best name ever)  I will speak with the king and Steve about this. After a couple meetings, the king and the others decided on not attacking until they have gathered some iron for themselves, strengthened their defenses,  and have found out more about who had taken the research for a golden apple with golden blocks.

The main suspect, was of course, the iron-clad. They assumed that it was hidden somewhere deep in the fortress, though they  knew  attacking would be very risky, as they could have perfected the recipe and created many apples for combat. They also didn’t know if there were more cloaked figures, and if there was, then the iron-clad would have armies with superhuman abilities that basically had 2 lives. Hopefully, if that was the case, the green creature form that they took after death wouldn’t have the golden apple effects.

They stockpiled iron for the next month, and more scouts were sent to the underground fortress. It appeared that the iron clad were also stockpiling supplies, though no signs of the gold apple with gold blocks research were found.

Two more months passed, with neither the kingdom or the iron-clad taking offense. During this time they had acquired enough iron for each soldier in army a chestplate. They had also increased their steak and golden apple supply and added two more walls to the existing one. Another month passed, and they started developing long range TNT cannons, which can fire up to 16 TNT in 2 seconds, as opposed to only 8 in previous TNT cannons. They predicted in about two weeks they could create one that could fire as much as 32, and if two more weeks passed without attack they could make as many as 16 of these , and make them fire simultaneously. They planned to set them up in a 4v4 square, so they could destroy large sections of a possible attacker’s army.

Turned out those two weeks came, and during that time they did set up the cannons, along with a water safety system. After a week, the four month long time of peace came to an end. The fight started with scouts seeing the iron-clad troops advancing from far away. They fired the cannons, though it appeared someone had sabotaged it! The underground wiring had an extra redstone repeater in it, and made the TNT destroy their own walls!

After that the king was moved to an underground bunker, despite his wishes to be with his men. Steve, Brine, and the 1st and 2nd in command generals rallied their troops and got them ready for battle. When they got outside, they found that all the lookouts had been shot with huge flaming projectiles. More projectiles were coming, so the soldiers put their shields over their head. Brine asked for a telescope and spotted the iron-clad, firing flaming projectiles at them. Suddenly, a couple fireworks went up in the sky. The soldiers looked at the sky for a brief moment to see the fireworks, and realized that the flaming missiles were no longer being fired. As they realized this, Brine also realized that the group firing at them seemed a little small… he also realized what was going to happen next, but it was too late. The blood bath had already begun.

Because just as the missiles stopped, the iron-clad popped out of the rumble, right in the middle of the army. Confusion and chaos erupted. Many died that day, and just as many got sent to the iron-clad’s fortress, in chains. The battle immediately went to the iron-clad, who had the powers of the golden apple made with golden blocks.

                                                                   Chapter 8 - End

                                                                 Chapter 9 – Hope

The battle that they were fighting – Brine knew it was lost, and called for his men to retreat. Many died trying, and few actually made it out alive with Brine. Brine knew that even though some would call it cowardly, to run away while your comrades died, he knew that he could do nothing to help.

After the battle, he saw the king, Kire Seorb walk out from his bunker and greet the general. Turns out that the his suspicions about the king from 4 months ago, when he was first crowned king, were correct.

He was also relieved once he saw the chains that they were getting dragged back to the iron-clad’s fortress in. He knew now that he could save at least some of them. Brine and his group of 8 followed after the iron-clad, from about 75 feet away. Brine used a telescope to keep track of them.

They stopped and set up camp at a cave near the fortress. They started making their plans to get into the fortress, and somehow free their comrades. The group watched the fortress, looking for ways to get in. After a week of mapping out the fortress’s entrances, they saw another group coming to the fortress, in chains. It was probably another kingdom that the iron-clad had imprisoned. After another week, they found that the only way to get in was through the water pipes that one of the iron clad leaders used in his surfing simulator. They learned about it after they overheard two soldiers talking about it as they gathered lava near the cave.

“Hey, have you heard about the new surfing simulator General Ducke Jr. is having installed in his quarters?”

“ I swear, that guy is so spoiled, haha!”

“And he doesn’t even go into battle, can you believe that?!”

“Probably too scared, haha!”

“I still don’t get why we need a general to lead an army of rubber duckys, makes no sense!”

 “SHHHH! Haha!”

“Eh?”

“You hear something, Haha!?”

“…No”

“Never mind, haha!”

“Another thing, I still don’t get why you keep saying haha…”

And so the next day, Brine and 2 others would go through the water pipes and mine out an opening in the pipe. Then they closed the opening with a loose piece of cobble. This was so if General Ducke Jr. used his surfing simulator, they had a spot where they wouldn’t drown. After this was done, Brine and one other person left the piping. The other stayed to see if the General would use the simulator. After having people watch the simulator for a week, the group had an approximate time for when the General would use it, which was once in the afternoon about an hour after lunch.

Before breaking in, Brine wanted his men to craft tools and golden apples. Also, one of the men was in charge of collecting gunpowder to craft TNT. Hopefully the explosion would be a good smoke screen if they had to escape, and they could also use it to blow out a wall too. The plan for escape was quite risky though, since they didn’t know the fortress as well as they would like. They would use TNT for smokescreen and then set off one next to a wall that hopefully led to the outside. After that, they would set off more to make a huge pit so no one could cross.

While his men prepared, Brine had something he was doing too. When he was little, he heard a story of an old man who knew much about the world and made many prophecies that became true. He somehow was able to live 1300 years, and was able to save the world from being taken over by evil twice. One time 1200 years ago, and another 800 years ago. He heard of him living south of the kingdom. Brine hoped that he could find an ally in him, and wanted to find out if he made any prophecies about the iron-clad.

                                                                     Chapter 9 - End

                                                               Chapter 10 – Break-In

After a week, Brine found a shrine on the edge of the desert. Brine was shocked to see the stories were true. The man looked like he was in his 60’s, he was slightly taller than Brine, who was about average height. He had brown and gray hair and his eyes were brown. He had a sack next to his side, probably containing some secret potions that Brine heard he knew how to brew. He saw the man and waved to him. The man’s man was Joe. (No one said amazing people can’t have simple names, right?) He agreed to team up with Brine, and said that there was a prophecy that a great army would take over the world, although there would be a hero to stand up to them. He wasn’t sure if the hero would be successful, though.

Joe and Brine started their journey back to the their hideout to the cave, where they ran into an angry wolf horde. Joe was able to calm them down, however, and they continued their way home. On the way back Joe told Brine about some of the battles he fought in his lifetime. He also told him about another prophecy of a being from another realm who would come to enslave their world for fortune back in his realm. Enslaving a whole world, just for some money… sick, Brine thought. What kind of person would do that?

When Brine got back to the cave, his men, just like him, were surprised to see that the stories they heard about this man were true. Brine explained their way to break in to Joe, and they started planning for the next day. Joe told them that he had a special potion that could make them invisible, so they could look around the place with far less risk. A downside to this was that armor could still be seen with these potions, so they had to take off their armor while their break  in. Their plan was to just scout out the fortress, and to only take action if they found the prisoners or the iron-clad’s leader. If they found his leader, then Joe would try to assassinate him. Joe then showed them his sword, which had a glow you could see through the sheath.

After a good night’s sleep Brine and company walked over to the water pipe and drank their invisibility potions. It was 8:00 A.M. ,and the potions lasted for about 8 hours. Joe told them that you could tell where everyone was because there were tiny swirls that emitted from people who drank the potions.

The group split up into 2 groups, Joe and Brine each leading one. They would meet up an hour before noon at the surfing simulator. Brine and his four men walked around the living quarters until they reached the center of the fortress, buzzing with activity. There were 10 halls, and Brine’s group just left the Leader’s Quarters hall. The other 9 halls were The Black Smith’s, Armory, Barracks, Dining Hall, Farms, Mines, Dungeons, Rest Rooms, and Mrog’s Quarters.

Mrog was probably the leader if he got his own quarters, Brine thought to himself. Mrog… interesting name. The fortress was made out of strong stone brick, some overgrown with moss. Brine grabbed a coin on the ground and motioned with it that they were going to Mrog’s Quarters. It seemed the others got the message, as Brine saw the gray particles following him.
