I've been searching. For so long, I have been searching. What have I been looking for so desperately, that drives me every day? What search is this where, in the case that I complete it, my heart would swell up so?

This is the journey to find the perfect Minecraft Server. It's come to an end with positive results, and I am overcome with ecstasy.

It wasn't long ago that I found Atmosphere. In fact, it was only last week. After logging on I'd been greeted with a beautiful spawn, stone pillars jutting out of a mystical sky island, massive portals taking the players to their desired gametype. I was intrigued, but I wanted to find out if the jaw-dropping builds could speak for themselves. I decided to go into the portal marked "PvP." Inside, I found a happy little spawn town, with a block shop, item shop, and some more awesome builds. I was welcomed by a choir of cheerful players. "Welcome to Atmosphere PvP! Have a great time!" they said. Few times before have I found a community that fun to be around.

There were two portals to leave the spawn, and a manual route. I decided to take the high route and walk out myself. A few minutes later, a mean-looking player in diamond armor named "Useers" came up behind me with his sword drawn. Defenseless, I decided to run; however, he had speed potions and I didn't stand a chance. To my surprise, he stopped and dropped me iron armor. I thought it was a trick so I picked it up and fled. He didn't chase me. All he said was "good luck bro" in chat. I thanked him. Many times after this other players have showed me this kindness that I have never seen before. Sometimes it's creepy how nice these people are.

In the time I've spent on this server I've only lagged once or twice for a very short period of time. The owner Soul was nice enough to send me a video of his 16GB computer (which he claims he will put on YouTube very soon) and take me step-by-step of how it works. Wanting to go into computer science myself, I was grateful. Because of this great RAM I've maintained a higher FPS and ping than on any other server. The best part is, there's no ClearLag or other lag-stopping plugins. Just raw server power.

Building a base wasn't easy in this hardcore PvP world, but I did it and I was proud. In fact, I met somebody with a scarily similar name to me: Chromous. We became friends on this server! We braved the Dungeons, which I have only seen on this server. Complete themed dungeons to win unique prizes that will help you out in PvP. It's great!

The minigames work smoothly, including their custom-coded minigame Basketball by Jailpod. The Kit PvP classes clearly had a lot of work put into them, as they seem to be perfectly balanced without any flaws. The arenas are built just as well as the other builds, with lots of strategy points and Easter Eggs! The best part of the minigames is that you get money for winning, which can be used in the PvP world as currency and in the Creative world to buy an extra plot.

The Creative world uses the PlotMe plugin. Unlike other servers, Atmosphere allows players to buy and sell plots, annex and remove space from their plots, and use almost any block. There are also building contests where you can build to win donator ranks, in-game cash, and a monument of yourself in the spawn world!

Probably the most important part of this server that inspires me the most is the activity. Every day the staff come on and make YOU feel important. They host events, host discussions for feedback, fix any reported bugs or flaws near-instantly, and have all sorts of fun, unique additions to the server, daily.

I can't recommend this server enough. If you've read through my rambling to this point, thank you so much.
