I am out there to find the best mods for you. I recomend you have at least ModLoader and TMI installed before downloading these. I will not comment on the most popular mods like "Mo' Creatures"! Please know I work hard to research this stuff but rarely ever download it so I'm not always 100% accurate! MP=Multiplayer (load onto servers) SP=Singleplayer (Download to your .jar)
-Quidditch mod: Puts Quiditch into MC form. Very good work! Has many different components including an easy to make flying broom. (MP)
-Tropicraft: A great mod, adds lots of new mobs blocks, everything! I love it! (SP)
-Sports mod: Adds basketball, football (Americans, it means soccer), and tennis. Includes new blocks, balls (that have a really good system for use), and is really nice. (MP)
-Mo' Explosives mod: A really great mod. Remote detonation, MANY diferent explosives, fireworks even! Awesome mod (SP/MP)
-Tornado mod: LOVE it. It generates tornadoes throughout the world. The cool thing is: it picks up every kind of block and mob and throws them. Not good for Creative mode where you have a big house though (learned that the hard way)! (SP)
-Ballistic Knife: Very nice. It shoot recollectable blades so is very helpful in certain ways, yeah. Cool for a warfare server.
-Lord of the Rings: Is great. So far it's just developmental but it's still great. Adds lots of new mobs that do special tasks. It also adds new armor and weapons. Really good.
-Humans +: GREAT! Advanced AIs, loads of new mobs, weapons, and a couple blocks. There are many faction, either good or bad, that battle. This is a must get!

-Ore Mod: It generates retextured dragon eggs that when you punch them spawn (a) creeper(s) of the ore of the egg. The eggs are generated around the world. They have one of every ore of creeper, and the creeper drops the ore of the item. This just makes it REALLY easy to get diamonds. (SP)
-Hunger Games Mod: Allows you to have Hunger Games in Single Player! This is a great mod, adding new items and blocks, allowing you to play Hunger Games by yourself with NPCs. It's exactly like the book/movie/what your friends told you about it! (SP or if you want to, MP)
