IDEA:
What is the worst part of Minecraft? Having to take 10 minutes just to change your skin! The process of logging out, selecting a skin, open Minecraft.net, upload the skin, and log back in, is just too time consuming! In order to limit the amount of time taken to do such a relatively simple task, I have come up with this mod Idea! The Better Skins Mod!
CONCEPT:
The basic concept is as follows: The player will be able to pull up a GUI that is added to the game's pause screen, and browse custom skins. The player can type in the URL of their favorite MC skinning sites (Including PMC) and browse their content. When they have found a skin they like, they can do two things, add it to their favorites tab on the GUI, or use it (Or do both if they want to). From there, they click the Use Skin button, to quickly apply the skin to their account!
MODDERS:
To all of those modders out there, I don't even know if creating this mod is possible... I think it will be exceptionally hard to code, because I especially made the idea for Minecraft multiplayer. Never-the-less, I would have the utmost respect to those who even attempt to try it. Good luck xD
